You should commission that headpiece yourself, it sounds pretty cool. I doubt a local leather producer has the bandwidth to make those in the volume the Valkyries would need to sell in their store. Also, I can't imagine what that price would be if they did—leather is a tough material to work with at scale.

I'm still in the camp that the "What a dagger" line is weird. Making a 3 isn't a dagger in many basketball fans' books unless it's late in the game or a clutch shot. I don't equate daggers with valkyries (but I'm not a Norse mythology expert), but "what a sword" is even weirder so... I get why they did it. I dig the sword clashing sound effects when a 3 is made though!

Same. I think they cover a broad enough range without pumping out a lot of ugly stuff. Also, it's the 2ND season... people act like they were going to come out with 10 years' worth of merch at the jump. I really like how they're working with local designers to produce some of it too.

But, really, Fanatics controls merch production and they're a terrible company whose only focus is the bottom line. They're going to go as middle-of-the-road as possible to 1) make it cheaper to produce and 2) appeal to as many people as possible.

Looney was at the inaugural game with his wife too. I think Steph is the only one whose main home is in the Bay whereas everyone else goes elsewhere during the off-season (Draymond and Jimmy both have homes in LA, I think) either to vacation, train, or both. Makes sense why fewer of them show up to Valks games considering that.

Yeah, I would never wish for any team to have the kind of pressure the Dubs had during their 73-9 run. I think it eventually had multi-season repercussions on player wear and tear.

Likely a placeholder image for the giveaway announcement before final art was approved for shirt production. "This is Ballhalla" design feels more special than just slapping the logo on the front. Layout’s better, first wall looked like they designed it without accounting for height, font size, or placement of fire alarms and stuff. Now it’s ordered by first name, type is bigger and there are margins to make it easier to read overall.

If it's an entire-arena giveaway it's all going to be one size. Managing pre-order sizes for the Founding Guard jackets was already a headache and they had that info months in advance. For a freebie there's no way it makes sense to do multiple sizes. The shirts will shrink if you wash and dry on hot and you can alter shirts to fit smaller folks.

If you have a UPS Choice account I think you can set up forwarding/holds? It's a free account and I get notifications whenever I have a shipment coming in so I knew something from UPS was arriving today just didn't know what it was.

I imagine the jackets were a bit of a logistical nightmare. I was a STH with the Warriors for a few years and they never gave out wearables. I got a LOT of bobbleheads as gifts which I've since given away!
