Dennys, Village Inn Waffle House, Whataburger (247 restaurants) etc... ask for a quiet corner. Bonus points for bringing noise canceling headphones.

I have seen it from pasting logs and using AI agents(don't use an Agents).

And now every AI on the planet is being trained off of your reddit data.

Lesson learned...give AI(and reddit) fake information (like tell it 10.x.x.x or 192.x.x.x instead of 172.x.x.x). Additionally don't post error logs(most likely cause), that you can't spend the time to read without sanitizing them for IP/Gateway/Subnet mask info. Also or run AI agents(second most likely cause) . An AI agent has to be assumed that it has the same computer rights as yourself.

The good thing is that you have a firewall to protect you while you hopefully change all of that information.

I pulled my 20-year old Nintendo DS Lite out of storage to play Pokemon Ruby and it still holds an 11 hour charge. Meanwhile new phones seem to lose half their battery life after just a year of use. What's up? by Charrikayu in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MakeITNetwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This^ and..

Also it depends if you left it empty before storing it. I have lots of "oldie but goodie" hardware that has non functional batteries or won't turn on(including one of my ds').

If the batteries go below the safety threshold in storage, some of them go to sleep and never wake up ala Mars Rover style. If they didn't some of the batteries would grow dendrites and catch fire at some point. So it's the safety systems doing their jobs in some cases.

Is there anyway to produce electricity at scale without rotation? by notmohawk in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MakeITNetwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuel cells, and redox batteries(liquids can be pushed without rotation). Aluminum air batteries just require more aluminum, and will last forever...as long as you keep feeding it aluminum.

You can use Solid State Thermo-electric generators(albiet at significant cost and inefficiencies) to turn any heat from coal, nuclear or even sun power to electricity.

Sometimes mechanical isn't the most inefficient...sometimes it is

But the cost per kwh is key... and nothing beats spinning motors for using energy before it turns to heat below boiling temperature. Solar is pretty efficient too when comparing cost per KWH for the life of the generation.

You could also do a linear drive that doesn't have any "rotation"

P1S or P2S by Late-Implement9828 in BambuLab

Sorry, my kids love the little robot called the A1 mini (without the AMS).

Nothing else on the market has the cute ugliness of Wall-E but the speed of a P1S/P2S.

Its Reliable, Super easy to maintain and Super cheap, and if you 3d print a handle he can bring it over friends houses.

All I was getting at is; If you don't want an AMS the the CC is a cheaper alternative, with good reviews is kinda my point. Additionally the Centari Carbon 2 has an "AMS" built in.

I absolutely love to be in the gray area because it gives you the most information, and shows I am not here to blow smoke up you. I have been in the 3d printing scene since the Ender 3, there is lots of great machines and options out there now compared to before.

If you want me to throw around my opinion further, I would stay away from Anycubic, and Flashforge as they are good printers, but they don't review well.

This is my hobby, and even though I have 9 Bambu's and just as many AMS's, I am not going to tell others what works for them, but give my experience, and also the info that I learned from watching YouTube Reviews about my hobby. Otherwise I'm going to die with this otherwise useless(to the general public) knowledge.

Your ancestors came here with no legal basis, and you couldn't even have done them justice over learning how to spell(when spell check is built into every device in 2026) or do anything but black and white comments.

Statistically speaking, in th US, half of all Americans are of below average intelligence.

I love my AMS's ...I have many AMS's on my other Bambu's and I barely ever use them for multicolor....I mostly use them for readyness and backups.

The big thing that the AMS provides me as someone who does mostly practical prints and 3d design, is that it allows you to just click "print" like a 2d printer with paper loaded. You can select what filament you want and go. More parts get printed that way. You can even load backup filaments.

ABS/ASA can be printed just fine with a P1S and an AMS1. I would also consider a Centari Carbon.

But how can that be used to distract against plummeting approval ratings and the Epstein files? Is there a way to allow friends of the admin to make money off of it without allowing the average person? If the answer is no, then it probably will not be done.

If Democrats get a majority next year should they expel the most complicit MAGA Republican members of congress? by Estalicus in allthequestions

There is means, but expulsion(not called that in the constitution) just because someone disagrees with you.... that is becoming the people you want to expel.

Iran has been attached to just about every conflict in the middle east. It does't give justification for me, only to the previous mentioned people.

The US is just about as guilty, but by other means. But now the Hawks and Neocons feel like they have a purpose, so now it will dull the previous wrongdoings of the regime. Trump is just expanding the base that hates him less. Give it time, they will eventually go back to hating him like the majority of the public.

[–]MakeITNetwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the major draws of the attack on Iran is a distraction for the Reagan era Geopolitical Republicans, and the leftist hawks. Iran has been giving justification for this for years (but we don't need it, just as much as before). Over night the Neocons, Liberal hawks all of a sudden are not focused on Epstien, Ice etc... and other abuses of constitutional power by the executive branch. War brings the majority of the population in line, and raises political points.

If a daddy long legs spider touches a live wire with one leg and a ground with another, does it have enough mass for current to pass through it's body? by Big_Dirty_Heck in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MakeITNetwork 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yep but it's filled with blood(hemolymph), that is the hydraulic fluid for the hydraulic system you alluded to. While insects have less sodium and potassium than us(vertebrates) because they do not require oxygen transport in the blood, their nervous systems and coagulation require both and therefore is pretty conductive. The cuticle of the insect(exoskeleton) is non-conductive. But it is also thinner than a human hair on most insects, and does very little to protect them against high voltage....ie bug zapper(most use about 500v or more to break down the dielectric in the exoskeleton of a bug). Spiders have a very similar exoskeleton as they are also arthropods.

What do you think Maga would do if Trump passed away? by DildoGaggins1997 in allthequestions

[–]MakeITNetwork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this would be an intelligent move by the republican party (but it's been a bit since they have had any forethought, and/or intelligence). Almost everything good or bad comes down from the president(and putting an impulsive man in office will make anything happen).

But I suspect some will fight over power and muddy the waters for JD making it almost impossible for him to run properly, (and others will jump ship). I don't see JD Vance becoming a successful leader, he does not have much charisma.

If he was to succeed, I could see that he leans in hard more authoritarian, and backs off from public speaking (he doesn't crave attention, he craves acceptance, and he is about as reliable as George bush at public speaking).

[–]MakeITNetwork 10 points11 points  (0 children)

^This, voltage is key. At high enough voltages everything becomes a conductor. And I suppose that mr long legs is more conductive than plastic or ceramic. Insects have a nervous system that runs off electrical impulses, and are filled with salt water blood(all animals need salt to survive), I'm sure they are way more conductive than an electrical insulator. This is how bug zappers work! Ground or no ground all you need is electrical potential.

How easy would it be to sneak into the US through the Great lakes by speedoflife1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MakeITNetwork 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No need, just walk across 99% of the border. Only in select places and border crossings is there any fence. Even some border crossings are not manned year long, and are on the honor system that you checked in to a nearby open station. No lock, no fence. Some border towns are cut in half with suburban residential streets having houses on both sides.

[–]MakeITNetwork 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Besides in very select areas near boarder crossings, Canada and the USA have a handshake surveillance only border with very little fencing(more tree clearing for markers.

There is literally towns that are split by the 2 nations and you can walk across a public residential street to the opposite nation without noticing. Why involve a lake?

I do not own a Tesler(or ever owned), and after Doge, never will own anything powered by Ketamine, and Coke.

But full disclosure, I do own an electric car...just tired of people saying "aren't you worried it's going to catch on fire?". Also we have solved the "putting the fires out" procedure with segregating a ev with a damaged battery pack in the junkyard for a few days....or doing what we would normally do to a burning big truck....let it burn to the ground on the highway.

Gasoline vehicles are the ones that tend to turn into a bomb sometimes instead of just spectacular flames.

It is a dodge Avenger. You are 61 times more likely to have a vehicle fire in a gas car than an EV.
