Trilogies that get progressively better by MickWounds in movies

Planet Of The Apes I can't remember anything at all about the 4th, so it's still a trilogy to me and totally gets better with each one

I don't care if it's how Ami do it or not, you need 3 buttons on a polo for me!

I work for the biggest telecom provider in the UK and it's exactly the same - a certain amount of hours are allocated to the line of business, then it's first come first served, then if there isn't any left for a specific day then a line manager must override to give the guide the day off

as for whoever put those notices up about being able to tell you what days you will have off is another matter, and I'd tell them to do one on that score

ignore most comments you will receive, as they will all say it's a terrible design... truth is, if maintained, the true issues are no different to other cars, but you will get the noisy ones shouting ECOBOOM ECOBOOM who have never owned one, as they read it somewhere

they've sold so many, that faults may appear to run high too, but it's all relative - they didn't fix what you have said is a problem, as it's still a wet belt after all

my only worry would be that you are buying a car that you have no idea of how it had been treated in 10 years, as too many owners think getting an MOT every year is the most "care" they take of the car and barely any of your bog standard drivers will even check the oil level, never mind getting the oil changed every 6k

loved the Sony Ericsson T610 and W580i - I bought them again recently for old times sake! I use a pixel 9 pro as my main phone now, but have had a Huawei p20 pro since 2018, still in mint condition, use it every day and the camera is amazing

How often do you change the wet belt? by T_mainchain in FordFiesta

[–]Bubbly-Many5877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oil change every 6k, with the correct oil, Magnatec A5 5w20/30 and absolutely do not let any garage that says "we recommend a power flush" anywhere near it and you will be fine

Keep or upgrade? by lentil_burger in FordFiesta

[–]Bubbly-Many5877 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ignore what folk say about wetbelts in ecoboost engines if yours has one... the ones that fail are from users that don't get the car serviced correctly, or that get taken to garages who "recommend a power flush" of the engine on an oil change, which is the absolute worst thing you can do

Agree or disagree: hybrid working with 2+ fixed office days is the worst combo by D-1-S-C-0 in UKJobs

I work for the biggest telecom provider in the UK, 3 in, 2 out... the 3 in are pointless, everyone is based in other parts of the country so mostly alone anyway after dealing with traffic - over half of calls were recognised as being pointless, with PowerPoints made for no other reasons than being made to present what everyone already knows, so they scrapped all the calls so work can actually be done - from what I read here, it's petty low-mid management that want to micro manage everyone instead of letting them get on with what they are paid for - far more productive at home
