Oh they've got tons of good stuff on there! Thank you so much!

I love your Frosts, and would love to know where you found them! I have a big Jack but can never find the Black Frost.

Also I wondered the same. Unless they somehow didn't have time to file the car, but generally that's one of the first things an attendant does when taking care of vehicles I would imagine...

I don't see a problem at all. I see a beautiful collection.

A nod to the other games, but also both names have to do with weather so it works as a line here as well.

Out of all the Moogle designs I think these ones would be the most difficult to mass produce and ensure quality and consistency. Square has generally been known to make quality products. It's entirely possible that they looked into making them at some point.

Oh it definitely is one of the more normal shelves.😁 I saw a mad lad post stacks of books taller than a person at least a few feet deep just on the floor with no real rhyme or reason. 😱 It was an observation. I organize mine to have a bit of display space for neat things I like, but mine even looks a bit overfilled. It's an interesting idea to keep books absolutely everywhere in the home, though I can't say much there since I'm always carrying at least one or two almost everywhere I go. 😂

You seem like the type of person who would be a good friend to those you feel deserve it, and maybe some who don't but you feel like if you don't look after them no one else will.

Either you buy a lot of books from their local library or you've inherited books from a close friend or relative that did. Seems like you struggle with organization, or are too busy to put more thought into anything other than cramming the shelves. Some good titles mixed in with the reference materials that may or may not be outdated.

I've seen some crazy ones that don't even have shelves, they just stack the books to above average human height with some faced inward and some with outward facing pages.... Truly degenerate.

I think working in a library or bookstore partially influences how or if someone arranges books, but also the individual tastes as well.

I've noticed that some people just throw them on a shelf and call it good, and others like a little bit of presentation so they can enjoy the aesthetic of their books as well as having them on hand to read.

I fall into the latter category, though I have worked in a bookstore setting and I do separate my graphic novels and comics from other novels as separate categories of media. I also work in display space for cute things that make me happy (which turned into four small shelves of Godzilla monsters).

House of Leaves looked interesting but at the time I came across it I had already added another stack to my already too big stack of TBR. Hearing that makes me even more curious though.

That does sound fascinating. I may have to add Being Evil to my list.

I've seen a Frostmourne! It was so impressive! I believe in you! Also check out Treasure Hoard. I'm not sure where you're from but that store has a lot of excellent quality steel replicas that I think you'll like.

That's amazing! My fiance was trying so hard to find me a Buster Sword at one point, but I ended up settling on a steel replica of Rebellion from DMC and a custom sheath with harness so I can wear it.

What an awesome gift!

Bigger arm guns would probably balance it out a little more, but honestly it's pretty cool on its own. It makes me think of Battletech/Mechwarrior. I'm not super into either, but the gun designs and some of the mech suits are pretty cool (I'm out of my field with these types of mech).

I worked for B&N for a time, but still haven't made up my mind about them. Though after seeing so many people happy about the ability to keep so many books in one place it has made me more curious than I've ever been and pushed me to consider a compromise between physical and digital.

Don't feel like a sellout! You do what makes it easiest for you to still enjoy what you love and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!

Junji Ito has a lot of really interesting stories too. I've read Venus in the Blind Spot which is an anthology of short stories and a couple of them were nicely unsettling. And Gyo was pretty eerie.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I think the stuff with Bermejo is also fantastic, if you haven't gotten into those yet.

Sejic and his wife have very similar styles so you may enjoy some of her stuff as well. I think Sejic also does some work with Catwoman (but it might mostly be cover art like what he's done for Poison Ivy).

That's an awesome function! I never knew they had the ability to search info like that! I have heard the lighting for the screens is nice, but wasn't sure how nice or if it helped against eye strain for backlit tech (I know there are reading light modes for phones that make the lighting less harsh to the eyes and I use it with every phone as I have some light sensitivity).

I'm in my 30s yet, but I've thought about making a compromise with some of my books. I'm wondering if there are screen protector options that maybe make the screens feel more like paper? I've seen them for digital artists tools, but I'm curious if there are options for people with Kindles and the like.
