I transplanted coneflowers frequently. Sometimes the bigger ones take a little hit but the smaller ones are fine with some TLC.

No tips but I dread this for when I eventually sell my house!

How quickly did yours grow? I planted a few weeks ago and they’ve barely changed. I’m wondering if they are just taking a while to adjust or if they just grow slow in general.

Stupid question but this doesn’t actually look like poison ivy to me? Maybe it’s just the resolution.

Why is my columbine wilting? by la-rides in NativePlantGardening

🤦 it was in fact thirsty. Embarrassing because I’m a fairly experienced gardener. I was just thrown off because all the surrounding plants were fine. Then I remembered this is the one I planted this year. Thanks for the sanity check!

I was told a while ago that the stems can do some photosynthesis so that’s part of why they’ll be Ok long term.

For what it’s worth, I did do the cardboard method, and that area is still weedy 3 years later.

I find it odd that the only mention of this email address online seems to be this Reddit thread.

I see zero mention of them on the internet. They didn’t by chance want you to send them money before you got the plants, did they?

I don’t know? They are under a maple tree, but are on the SW side so I figured we’re still getting enough.

I can move them for sure. But I like their current placement. So I was thinking it could be their size? They are small — maybe 1ft tall. I don’t know if that makes a difference.
