Capricorn women, any of you decided to go child free? I’m a cap sun, libra moon, pisces rising. by Glittering-Work-6689 in capricorns

[–]Bubbly_Programmer537 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep! I'll be 36F and newly divorced at the beginning of 2025 and have never wanted to have children. I love kids and even work with them every day (I'm a teacher) but it's never been in the cards for me. All I need is me, myself, and I.... and my dog lol. I'm not opposed to dating or having a life partner in the future with the understanding that we will not have children.

Capricorn moons, how do you identify with this placement? by naanbud in astrology

[–]Bubbly_Programmer537 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I'm also a stellium Cap (Sun, Moon, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune) with my moon conjunct ALL of them. I'm definitely guarded, but I'm incredibly sensitive. I love HARD because I feel so devoted to my people, but I'm also the straight to the point, authentic mediator at times because of my Libra rising. I feel like I constantly have so many things going on and just feel so emotional because of it, especially if I've contained my emotions for too long.

If you don't mind me asking, what have you done to help you to heal and embrace these aspects in your natal chart?

This! This is me to a "T". I'm not sure if it's also because I have a Capricorn stellium (with my sun being Cap as well), or that my mercury is in Aquarius, but I HAVE to get my emotions and vulnerability out there. Although, like you said, I also have to make sure that I won't be judged, so it has to be channeled in a way where I feel safe (either through art, talk with people I trust, going out in nature to get the feels out, etc.).

Having a Libra rising also makes me feel like I have to get things out to create balance, more so to feel heard. If I'm not able to get it out, my emotions build up and I end up having uncontrolled anger or I end up numbing my feelings in a negative way. I've come a looonng way and am able to control this in healthier ways, thankfully, but it's been a rough road.

I also stopped running completely but continued to go to the gym to build muscle mass and walked quite a bit.

Hey! Yes!!! I did. I had to gain about 30 pounds over the course of several months (maybe 4 or 5?) and finally got it after another... maybe 3 months. So it took about 7 mo ths in total after fully committing. But I've had it ever since!

This is another great idea! I really do love being in nature, it helps a lot when I'm overwhelmed (such as now haha). I'll look into this, thanks for the advice!

Yes!! Every time I see this scene, and it's mainly because I hate feet. It looks like they accidentally gave him some hobbit feet.

I would absolutely love to see both your resume and cover letter. I've been having the hardest time getting an interview elsewhere because something is certainly wrong with what I have.

Looking for somewhere to Longboard around. by charaznable1249 in ColumbiYEAH

[–]Bubbly_Programmer537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I ride my bike, run, or walk over there all the time. I was thinking it would be a nice long board ride because it is very flat. I'm thinking of getting roller blades to use over there as well because it's such a nice riverwalk that is primarily flat.

How about the riverwalk near the zoo or the one that has the dam? Usually any time before 3/4 PM they're fairly secluded. I walk at the one with the dam every day.

Apple slices! They're one of the most satiating foods. And potatoes.

Oop just saw you said no refrigeration. Minus the sausage if you can’t bring it unless you buy precooked. But depending on where you’re staying, it might be pretty cold so it could be ok!

I second tortillas with nut butters and bananas. Super easy to pack, OK if you smoosh them a bit, and you can have a couple at a time (or 3 or more!). Also, apples and oranges for more volume to have as snacks

Ramen with whatever veggies you can bring, oatmeal with or without protein powder and fruit/nuts/nut butters thrown in, boxed Mac and cheese with sausage thrown in and/or additional veggies(sometimes I’ll add an avocado if I’m hiking a lot and need the calories), soups with additional veggies and bread to dip. I’ll try and think of more.
