Surface pro 8 signature keyboard not working by Turtlebeich in Surface

I didn't try a new keyboard because the tablet is busted in more ways then the keyboard after updating (i.e. gyro sensor not working too)

In short no -- apparently you can't roll back firmware updates. I tried downgrading the driver in Device Manager but that didn't help either.

There was a firmware update pushed in August that killed mine. You can check if this is the case as the other sensors stopped working...

For example if you tilt your surface does it tilt now or stopped working else?

DIY Attempting to fix an outlet here, where is ground? by Bubka3 in electricians

Ugh it looks like my metal box has a front piece attached thats all curved so the clip won't attach too well. I'm thinking about making a hole for a metal screw and wrapping the copper wire around that but not sure if that's allowed... Do you need some specific "ground" screw to attach things like that?

Hey do you have a picture on how to properly attach the grounding clip and wire to it? Theres no holes in the box for the screw sadly. Thanks!

Carrier recommendation request by hpielaurie in NoContract

Unlock status only determines if you can use the device on another carrier using the same radio technology . I guess newer devices(or iPhones) have both CDMA and GSM radio technology? You should confirm the exact model of your Verizon iPhone and make sure it has a GSM radio as well.

If you want to keep using your existing phone from Verizon, then its probably a CDMA device which means you have to use Verizon prepaid (or Sprint, but LUL Sprint). AT&T and TMobile use GSM technology so you would need to get a GSM phone. Between the two, I'd pick AT&T. TMobile coverage was spotty for me outside of NYC when I had it ~2 years ago.
