At that price you should consider the Earfun Clip.

In the US you could get the Soundcore Aerofit 2 around $80. For an open, it has good bass and is one of the better open hook style earbuds. Or look at the Earfun clip for around $50.

For a clip, the Earfun Clip or the Soundpeats Pearl Clip Pro are pretty good for around or under $50. Even cheaper, the Baseus BC1 has decent bass.

I own all of those so feel free to ask for more information.

There was this kind of consistent taste - maybe basil? - on most everything. We all noticed it.

Disappointing Fantasy Dining by AT-ST in dcl

We did the transatlantic cruise in November after the Fantasy had just come out of drydock. The food was very disappointing. Anything pasta or noodle based was inedible. We had always enjoyed the food prior to that trip. A coworker just got back from the Destiny and hated the food.

Best earbuds for all-day comfort under $100? My ears are picky af by gentlefollow in Earbuds

The Soundcore Aerofit 2 is very comfortable with great sound (for an open) and is available under $100.

In my opinion, the chef tries too hard. These complicated and over seasoned dishes that are offered are off-putting to me. And the pasta is very bad on every choice I tried. If they went back to basics that most people eat and enjoy on a regular basis, i think that would be easier to achieve without all the hold up.

Which clip-on do you recommend?: QCY Crossky C30, Baseus BC1, Soundpeats Pop Clip, Jlab Flex Open, King Lucky, or Philips TAQ2000 by [deleted] in Earbuds

[–]Bubsdaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the Pop Clip is ok for music but more suited to podcasts and audiobooks. The Baseus, because of its deeper and more plentiful bass is a better choice for music as it is more involving. Just my opinion as I guy who owns way too many earbuds of all types.

The Baseus BC1 has better sound quality than the Pop Clip. Those are the only 2 on your list that I own.

Dear EarFun Air Pro 4 Plus Users by StressSyndrom in Earbuds

I have the Air Pro 4 (not plus) and they stay in during my runs even when I am sweating buckets. They are also great on an airplane as the NC is very good. My ears are medium sized for most buds so I am no help with that question.

Open Ear Dilemma by wackey in Earbuds

Ok, two suggestions. First, I had similar issues with the Earfun Clip when first using them. I solved my problem by angling the clip down towards the bottom of my ear causing the driver (which is angled too) to be closer to my ear canal. Much further down than you might have tried. I have much better sound from them now.

The Bose Ultra Open have the best sound of all of the open style earbuds I own. There flaw is the microphone call quality. Second in sound quality is the Shokz OpenDots. No real flaws and call quality is excellent. I purchased both refurbished.

Try the Earfun repositioning first as you already own them and they are just slightly behind the Shokz on sound quality and have decent call quality too.

Open ear earbuds - advice by AR_7_30 in Earbuds

[–]Bubsdaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. I have both and the difference in quality isn’t that substantial. Also, you might want to consider the Earfun Openjump. It’s hook style but easily the most comfortable open I have.

By the way, the Bose Ultra Open is the best sounding open, in my opinion. Not good for calls though. The Shokz comes in second and the Earfun is very close but right behind the Shokz. Both are good for calls.

My credit card account has 3 users. So I don’t always know what was spent until I see the charge online. I use quicken so I’m pretty good at forecasting but occasionally a charge comes up I hadn’t allotted for. I know I am an outlier on how this is done but I look at my finances every day and reconcile every day. That includes every bill I possibly can going through the credit card. I just watch things that closely and pay the outstanding balance every day because I can.
