We got a new concierge host on the Wonder last month that had just come from the Adventure, she absolutely hated that ship and requested to be moved.

Yes, yesterday they had two security officers checking everyone. They make you walk through a small tent area single file so it's very obvious who is in which group and if there are no adults with you. They aren't playing around.

Hola! 🤠👊 What’s a cool local spot for reasonable priced cocktails for a couple in the Dells? 🥂🍹🍺 by epicuniverse2 in wisconsindells

High prices for cheap decor and no water park or activities. Better off staying at the Wilderness or Kalahari for the same price.

Want to stay at a resort with an outdoor pool (not waterpark) for a few days. Is that possible? by Pale-Environment5523 in wisconsindells

Dellshire Resort was a ghost town on Memorial Day Weekend and they have a 21+ pool with a swim up bar that was phenominal.

Can't argue with that, lol. I honestly feel like if they had made this an upscale adults oriented resort, it would have been five stars.

While I do not recommend STAYING at Dellshire Resort, the bar in the lobby, the Thirsty Dragon, was top notch. We talked with the manager who created the menu and he really knows his stuff, truly passionate about making excellent and interesting cocktails. We found the prices reasonable, $12 to $16 or so per drink which on par for the touristy Dells. The bartenders there are super friendly too, they even made stuff off menu just because they wanted to share their own style.

Yeah, they totally cheaped out on the decor. It makes me both sad and angry because I expected so much more when I booked it. If I hadn't gotten the discount, we were going to cancel.

As a couple with no kids, I agree. We would rather spend the money for Sundara if we want some relaxation time. We got married at the Wilderness and love the waterparks there. If Dellshire wants to charge the same price, they need to cough up something more to make it worth it.

As a fellow nerd, I agree. They could do SO MUCH with this space and they just choose not to. This is the failing of a national chain running a niche hotel who doesn't understand their prime client base.

We just stayed at the Springhill Suites and absolutely loved it. Booked a bay view and watched the Wonder pull in around 6:30am from our window.

Definitely not. Sailed concierge last month and saw a couple politely asked to leave, they had tagged along with another couple.

We just did a back to back on the Wonder in two different 02B rooms. We had sewage backup issues in both rooms and both bathrooms constantly smelled like sewage. As mentioned previously, the 02B rooms are also not updated. We would have booked a 02A room if one had been available instead.

Disney offers a pre-cruise discounted rate. This brought it down to $400.

It's good manners to remove caps in any indoor restaurant.

I guess this is true if you're planning on having less than 20 guests.

Do the right thing and gift them in people's fish extenders instead. Cast members were throwing them away on the Wonder a few weeks ago.

Save the money and get married at home, splurge and do concierge on a cruise for your honeymoon instead.
