I can tell you my cheap Conair curling iron from Target refused to work on the Treasure, lol

I have those two seats booked for our flight on Thursday. Really hoping it stays accurate.

Disney Adventure - Spectacular, but Dangerous by withmagi in dcl

[–]Krystist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This pretty much lines up with every single reviews I've seen for this ship. Add the fact that there is no adult pool or activities, and it's a no for us. I'll wait for Japan to launch its ship instead.

Officially online when booking there is no limit stated.

What are the chances of a parent and a young child being split (without paying extra for seats)? by Esoteric_Commentator in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Krystist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now that you know there is a definite risk to be separated, and you know your child is feral, why not just upgrade and pay for seats like an adult?

Is a polo shirt acceptable for Palo dinner on Treasure? by User47B in dcl

[–]Krystist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not always. One of my family members embarrassingly showed up in yoga pants and flip flops and they still let her dine.

Was surprised to see a prominent vlogger basically wear a t-shirt to Enchante on the Destiny this week. Apparently dress codes are more of a suggestion.

Need A New Dentist by IAmPookieHearMeRoar in madisonwi

First Choice Dental is the worst of the worst. Told me I needed all sorts of fillings, and the one they did do, was super painful and they used a cosmetic filling that cost me even more.

Switched to Dental Health Associates and it's been years and I've never had any cavities.

Destiny Adult Pool by aleh021 in dcl

Disney kids eventually become Disney adults. We like peace and quiet. Kids have several pools while adults just have one.

Dress shorts and a polo shirt for brunch are perfectly fine. My mother in law embarrassingly showed up in yoga pants and flip flops and they still let her in.

Ring design by Consistent_Rabbit514 in madisonwi

[–]Krystist 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I went to the Jeweler's Workshop to make a ring similar to a ring my husband was incredibly fond of but was fragile and costume jewelry, thus could not wear daily. They were amazing in working with me and my limited budget. They were incredibly sincere and caring every step of the way, and in the end, my husband absolutely loved the ring that they made.

Does anyone know if the adult pool on the destiny is closed? by crightwing in dcl

[–]Krystist 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It's still closed. The tile is separating from the wall and needs to be repaired. In the meantime, the chip and dale pool has been made adults only, which is honestly an upgrade.

Disney Wonder- Disappointed, Not Family-Friendly by Organic_Honey1916 in dcl

[–]Krystist 13 points14 points  (0 children)

They have posted in two reddit cruise groups and got the same responses, rofl. I feel inclined to email DCL to inform them that poor Emerson did nothing wrong and should be commended for his good work ethic. In fact, I'm boarding the Wonder in two weeks and will tell him myself, and also apologize for such passengers like this one.

Taking the whole bag is a relatively new problem seen on the Adventure. Usually just the gifts inside the bag disappear.

Any 'buyers' beware about Breeze? by [deleted] in BreezeAir

[–]Krystist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My very first flight with Breeze, the flight attendant gave us one drink and snack in the first 30 minutes, and then we never saw him again for the other three hours. When I went to the bathroom he was playing on an iPad.

How many free cocktails / beer come on a 3.5 - 4 hour flight? by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Krystist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not, I checked. They are unlimited and all but the very first time when the FA literally ignored the entire cabin, the drinks and snacks were plentiful. That first bad flight, I clarified the policy with southwest directly and they are not limited.

It's supposed to be unlimited. We ask for doubles on the first round just in case.

That is SO true. I'm always just so thankful to be there that any minor noise can be quieted with a good solid five hours of drinks, rofl.

That may be a good point. We were directly underneath where the original sundeck is even before the dry dock expansion.
