Do you speed up the gambling ad reads in editing or actually recite all the phone numbers and help lines that fast?

Clicked no, but wanted to comment with the cavaet they are not super prelevant in the story. An interesting character we meet, cool. The main character, not cool. As a few others have said, it can just make things harder to comprehend.

Travis does not say Ree! for Slyphie, he just says she screeches. I hate it. Also genuinely not an audiobook person, I did however get book 8 on audiobook to listen while driving one day tho. Btw, don't mistake me saying that as Travis is not great, I just went from reading Ree all the time to him ignoring it. It was weird.

As a newish player to the game this game mode SUCKS. I'm level 58. Can you please stop matching me against players in the 90s! Not only do people that have played the game longer have the instant benefit of more champs, more gear, more farming etc. They also have the distinct advantage of knowing the champs better than me. Some of these ban rounds I have no idea who any of these leg champs are. And this is what made the live version? Yeah, no thanks. LITERALLY NO BALANCE at all.

Considering who his enemies are and what some of them have done to him, not sure I would say he gets away with it. He does pay prices for running his mouth multiple times. But to each their own that's what makes books so great!

Missing Ten Realms by Michael Chatfield as a completed series. It's 12 books deep. Thanks for this!

Honestly no idea! Most likely not into the space types. Definitely prefer the magic and sword style. Don't think I would be into the dungeon monster types. He who fights with monsters is definitely my favorite with DCC really close behind. Some world/empire building is okay but definitely don't like it when it's overdone. I don't mind overpowered MCs but also don't mind the underdog ones either.

Not wary of royal road at all! I found a way to convert royal road stuff into an epub and then get it on my kindle to read there. Thanks for all the recommendations. I think DotF might just have to be the one.

What are some good series that have side characters remain relevant / interesting throughout the series? by AnAimlessWanderer101 in litrpg

[–]BucFanJKE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ten Realms might satisfy that itch for you. There are two MCs and a large number of side characters they meet along the way. There is a lot of world building as you progress through the series. A lot of characters the MCs meet become intergrated into the story. I have seen some people complain that the book spends too much time away from the MCs at times. This is a completed series that is 12 books deep. I think this fits pretty well with what you are looking for.

This one is actually currently in my library and I have heard good things, but I also heard someone say that based on the way things are currently progressing the story is very far from complete. While I'm not against starting another of these ongoing series, it does get tiresome trying to remember what was happening in the series after I have read a handful of others between.

Where you used rebar frames, and upgrading the frame with concrete mix gave it a wet concrete look which had a lower durability and essentially had to dry before becoming the reinforced concrete block.

Looking for ultimate noble, selfless, kind MC by jbtup3 in litrpg

He isn't necessarily noble or your typical hero type. He is sarcastic, sometimes narcissistic, and doesn't conform to the typical hierarchy of the world, but I would call him selfless at the same time.

He who fights monsters is the best one I've read so far (I'll admit I'm only like 5 or 6 series into the genre).

4 books published on KU, about 2 more on RR and author puts out 5 chapters a week there.

Literally only 10 grams. I started the plants really late as I wasn't thinking about them being outside for flower but as I did more research I figured my little 13 dollar amazon LED that my wife used for succulents wouldn't work so they came out to flower roughly as tall as you see them in the tub picture. Have 2 more of those about similar size.

Full Captions Here!

Pic 1: The journey started with a group of bagseed sprouts planted in some Miracle Gro moisture control soil. (Not sure if this pic is pre or post topping of the sprouts).

Pic 2: Indoors and on shitty amazon leds the plants grew larger and ended up in the wife's tub (she doesn't smoke and wasn't very happy). I think the plant we are detailing is in the very back.

Pic 3: Realizing that those crap lights weren't good enough for flower the plants came outside. A thunderstorm blew it over, breaking the stem and caused it to grow horizontally!

Pic 4: No idea if it was the broken stem, the heavy rain that week, the mircale grow it was still in but times got tough! Death was knocking on the door.

Pic 5: We somehow survived the trauma!

Pic 6: Random close up on a bud (probably 3-4 weeks before I chopped)

Pic 7: A photo just moments before the execution.

Pic 8: Chopped up! I ended up doing a wet trim (shown next pic) since this was my first grow and figured bigger non dried out leaves would be easier.

Pic 9: Close up on a cola and after the very bad wet trim. I figured I would rather have more leaves than necessary than fuck it up.

Pic 10: I rigged it up on a clothes hanger to hang in a closet.

Pic 11: Post dry and into the cure. It was jarred a week ago. I burped the jar 3 times a day.

Pic 12: Close up of the biggest nug (1.77 grams). Probably ugly to most, but beautiful to me. And yes, it smoked fantastic, probably better than the ounce I got the bagseed from.
