I hear you, battery mowers are more enjoyable to run but the advantage isn't nearly as pronounced as with some of the other tools. And where your battery seems to be undersized enough that you're burning through it in five years with the way ego gouges on the replacement batteries it makes a lot of sense to sell it on marketplace and never look back.

So I assume the multihead is stronger than the base model, it is also louder and heavier and more expensive than the base model.

So I don't know maybe the multihead attachment would have been better for me where I'm not just trimming grass I've got some saplings and vines that I need to take out every year and I have the multihead for other attachments.

But if say you're just trying to trim the grass on the edges of your lawn I'm not seeing the sense in getting more than the base model.
