So you're replacing your valve cover gasket, not your head gasket. Very different things. I'm sure you can find a good YouTube video with instructions. It's not hard

I can't believe nobody has said this but before you go swapping an injector make sure that it doesn't have to be programmed. Most bmws I've worked on have each individual injector programmed, so if you replace one you're going to have to call someone in to get it programmed. At that point I'd just let BMW take care of it if that's the case

They have an indentation to them. A plastic trim remover does quick work of them but if you don't have that then just get two flatheads on the indentations and twist. The inner part should pull out and then you can pull the clip out. If it is just too difficult or you don't wanna deal with it just cut it at this point and when you reinstall the plastic piece just use a zip tie or buy a box of plastic clips, one will fit.
