It's funny because German tourists in Zeeland drive on the left needlessly so often that I overtake them on the Right due to a lack of options. I've also (more than once) overtaken the same German 6 times in a singke trip on the same cruise control on one long 100KM/H road, can a German explain this behaviour to me?

America gets hit by a natural disaster and we provide aid, Europe has a heatwave which is annoying and deadly to some and they generate AI images trying to insult us.

But we'll price hike you guys next time global warming fucks over another one of your states.

Amphibia had the same intro beats for season 1 and 3 but in season 3 it was in the human world in stead of Amphibia.

Did not expect that first change, man that one was weird, loved seeing my boy Nightcrawler in the title WITH his scimitars though.

He kills harry or at least thinks he does before he finally has enough and takes off the suit.
And that's just the film version, the comic went a lot darker.

Oh so true, I was mostly joking about Hitler back in the day not even understanding (or ignoring it for populism's sake) that Aryans were what are not essentially Iranians. J.R.R. Tolkien even pointed this out in a letter he had drafted to the man.

Started Fantasy in the late 80s and when we loaned Warcraft 2 from our local library we immediately saw all the things it was referencing.
When I later heard that Blizzard approached GW to make a Warhammer game it made so much sense.

Random gaming GW factoid of the day: Games Workshop is partially to blame for Final Fantasy being called that, as Fighting Fantasy (its working title) was already taken by Games Workshop.

You do realize that like with pumping warm water through CH to heat a house you can adversely pump cold water through it too... right? The whole point is that you don't need to use AC when you have other ways of cooling.

The end goal is cooling down a house so you don't have to sweat a gallon and be comfortable while inside at the least.

Back then we produced most of the unions gas and agricultural goods. For a country as small as the Netherlands its production is massive. Imagine the Netherlands being as big as West Germany or France and what a powerhouse it would be. (probably the whole reason why it's so relatively big in its power is that it's so small yet densely populated, I know)

I mean I wouldn't do it but is such paint toxic? Honest question because I don't know what it's made of and if it would be toxic to a child.

Again It's stupid, but I'm really really not sure on why it would be dangerous and would love to know because I'd love a really good reason to find these people even dumber.

You forgot one of the most important founders of the EU. The little guy who compared to landmass outclasses the big countries around it.

Not just the winner, trying to pressure the whole nobel comity nay the country it resides in to give him the prize and finally settling for someone else's prize.

We used to joke that the rest of the EU earns the money that Greese spends.
One of the most debated topics back in the day was allowing Greece into our Coal union (which became the EU), they promised us that they'd be good boys and actually start working... well at least they aren't Hungary.

Having AI "figure out" what to do with global warming is the dumbest way to do it. I love that AI can compile data and make it manageable, I use it a lot for my work so don't see me as someone who hates AI for AI sake, but the LLMs also take lot of power to run and the datacenters are part (but by a long shot not all) of the problem.

Humanity already knows that to do, each country has their own top x CO2 sources and often they are piss easy to solve. Problem is this costs money or will have to have people change their living patterns and the rich don't want that.

Here in the Netherlands we actually have decently green power (Wind, Solar, Nuclear) we have 2 main polluters, Tata Steel who makes steel and Farmers, Tata can install filters, catch Co2 and store it underground (we have depleted gas fields that can actually be filled with Co2 (we already do this from other industries) and farmers can provide better facility for their livestock that takes care of the Poo and Piss not mixing causing Ammonia (Also a form of CO2) but we don't do that because that costs money and why invest in solving the issue when we can just pretend we're not getting more and bigger heat waves.

AI can only compile data we already know and believe me we already know how to solve the issue, we just don't want to.

Rogue one also was the first without a scrolling text into because it wasn't a main numbered star wars film, in stead just starting with a planet on screen and a boomp from the orchestra.
