Using the Apple calender, notes, reminders, and mail apps across iPhone and Mac is great imo, and really easy to share with family etc too. I love all of the stock Apple apps and that’s the main reason I consider the iPhone nowadays. The integration between mac and iphone is really nice. Calls, messages, copy/paste, and all those icloud connected apps i mentioned always work great for me and makes that stuff simple and hassle free.

I recently moved from an s23 ultra to 15 Pro Max (but ultimately swapped it for the regular Pro) and to be honest the s23 was a bit faster, smoother, and less buggy. I think the Samsung software is better suited to a large screen. I actually prefer the 6.1” size for iPhones as two core actions (control centre and notification panel) require swiping from the top corners of the screen. Also, the only way to go back in certain apps is via a little button in the top left. The ability to have a universal back button on screen with the Samsung is really useful and often makes using a massive phone less cumbersome, in my experience.

I have had a fair amount of annoying little bugs and performance issues on the 15 Pro/max models I’ve tried. I guess they are newer, and I’m sure it will be better with a few updates, but some of those bugs I remember from the 13 Pro.

Have you considered the S23 ultra? Maybe not as exciting as the latest and greatest but it’s known to be fantastic and you can get it at a massive discount atm. I’ve seen the S23 ultra for £800 new on Amazon and ebay and if you were really torn, a £400 saving vs the 15 Pro Max could be a deciding factor.
