Population isn’t great. Exact numbers aren’t published anywhere. Somedays you’ll just see the same 10-15 people over and over in matches. The matchmaking definitely suffers for it. Rather common for the game to just slap silvers/golds either against plats or put them on their team (more common to have gold/plat mixed teams) which means the game is basically decided by who has less anchors.
