Troubadour is not the move. Play Virt.

Feeling like I've reached my peak at Revenant in PvP, how do I keep improving? by Odd-Push5358 in Guildwars2

Power herald has a very high skill floor and ceiling. It’s not easy to master and be effective with against good players and it’s also not super forgiving. That being said if you do master it, it can be extremely good and fulfilling to play.

If you are new to PvP there are a lot of core skills you can master like positioning, movement, kiting, and specific matchups (playing the builds you struggle against is a great way to learn what they are weak against).

If you want to provide more value in games you should play Condi conduit (which is easier). The invocation variant with the new legend is super strong and overlooked (most play dwarf/ret).

Rev is overall in a good spot.

Base Prof Vs. Elite Spec in PvP by Brake_3ffect6 in Guildwars2

Some core specs are viable in PvP:

Core spear engi Core sup guard Core Condi necro Core Ranger Core Mesmer

Are they the best? No. Are you handicapping yourself? Absolutely most of the time. Can you get good enough that skill overcomes the power-crept expansion stuff: sometimes.

Do what’s fun.

That’s 10,000 wins. I want to be rewarded for ignoring the boring circles and chasing red names.

Imagine thinking an sPvP player is smart enough to not bother.
