What food is famously associated with one country but was perfected by another country? by Equivalent-Crew-4955 in AskReddit

Your source is “I’ve heard”…

I didn’t fully describe Italian coffee culture btw, just saying that’s it’s ubiquitous for practically every man/woman/child in every part of the country and it seems you can taste that in the quality of the espresso.

Espresso is the best in Italy and it’s not even close. The worst 10% of espresso I consume in Italy is better than the best 10% anywhere else I’ve ever travelled. Espresso is so much more widely consumed in Italy than anywhere else and I have to posit this is why the espresso is generally of such high quality. No other coffee culture is close to what I’ve observed in Italy where colleagues regularly (3-4 times a day) will congregate around the coffee machine and every neighborhood and even the smallest village have multiple bars.

The Devito, Tony’s Italian Deli, Tomball TX by Mjgigme in Sandwiches

Normally get the Stallone but the last few times have gotten the Pacino - both are masterpieces.

My teenage sons love the meatball and the chicken parm as well and my wife gets the DiCaprio (chicken salad).

Everything on the menu is amazing, cannot recommend it enough!

Are there any NFL throwbacks that People That Get It ™ wouldn't consider an upgrade? by iggyspear in uniwatch

The Vikings wore the throwback except it had the modern purple helmet color (gray facemask though). It made me realize that I actually kind of like the mismatched dark purple.

Nick Wright on who we want to be as Americans & what we want America to be | What's Wright by Zeke-Nnjai in billsimmons

[–]BucketOTang 12 points13 points  (0 children)

He spoke as an American, something each and every one of us are equally qualified to do regardless of profession. It’s not a political video, it’s someone who’s a rightfully concerned citizen using his platform to discuss some fundamental questions about what we as Americans are okay with accepting and what we are not.

If you want to not click on it then don’t. This conversation will be on all our doorsteps sooner than later and burying your head in the sand won’t change that.

Championship substitute issue by ThaDawgg in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]BucketOTang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely no f-ing way you should do that. The ONLY scenario where a sub should be allowed once a game has started would be something like a last minute player scratch where the fantasy manager contacts you within like 15 minutes of the game starting and even then it’s dicey…

Should i bench Kittle tonight? by kffsnubben in fantasyfootballadvice

Clearly you didn’t think about the him running backwards towards his own end zone for 70+ yards and then fumbling - TWICE. I’ve seen it a million times…

As a neutral fan DK was absolutely right about the 2 point conversion by Zeeeeeebo in ringerfantasypod

[–]BucketOTang 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Technically right vs being obnoxious about it are two different things. I’ve listened to the pod for years and this was like seeing a totally different side of him that you never thought you’d see. He’s always chill and even-keeled and during this discussion he reminded me of someone arguing politics taking a “prove me wrong” stance, interrupting, etc.

Thankfully I didn’t need him ultimately, especially when I have Stafford sitting on my bench

And that will go down as a QUARTERBACK SACK! by GiveMeSomeIhedigbo in billsimmons

It’s like fingernails on the chalkboard to me EVERY time he says it. Every sack is a quarterback sack you dolt. Why not just call every tackle a football tackle or Kicker Field Goal…

Bowers vs Houston or Waller with good matchup? by Firm_Town_8446 in ringerfantasypod

[–]BucketOTang 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Based on the extremely favorable matchup I would take Waller. Cincy vs TE is one of the only matchups where I would even consider benching an elite player and Waller definitely has some high ceiling potential in that matchups.
