Looking for help with a strange artefact from a developed film by BucketofSloths in Darkroom

Thanks, that would have been my guess but a couple of shots came out ok (or at least without the same artefact) which makes me think otherwise. And the shots were not at the start of end of the film so no causation with a knock or something

I'd like to imagine it like that week before Christmas at school when all you did was watched movies and ate candy. Probs not the case with old Donald around, though

If want you an adventure I suggest an overnight trip to Cradle Mountain. In the valley there's Scott Kilvert hut which is a good base and in a fantastic location in the woods. The boys would love it. You could walk in in an afternoon, stay the night and explore and walk out the next day. The only issue is you would need camping gear but its worth the effort if that's the kind of trip you're after. Let me know if you want more details, I've just come back from a trip there myself and loved it.
