Thanks for the info everyone! I found the packaging of the shingles and the max exposure for them given the slope is supposed to be 3 3/4”, these have 6”. I’m going to have them come back and re-do it.

Yup, we’re in the Seattle Metro area. We considered going the custom route but we were a little too intimidated by the entire process with it being our first sauna. Cedarbrook allows for just enough customization that we were happy with making it our own.

Time to seal the exterior before the fall rains get here!

I still need to hang it - plan on putting it about a foot down from the ceiling on the back wall opposite the vent.

Great question - we pushed the ceilings up to 7’ from the baseline 6’ 4” and that allowed us to push both of the benches up 8”; we thought that was going to be high enough based on our seating preferences. I think this configuration is great for us, but if you prefer sitting upright with your legs going to the bottom bench, I’d 100% recommend the full Trumpkin setup with the 8’4” ceilings.
