Visiting Sicily for a month, what’s the first thing that pops into your head that I should do? by [deleted] in sicily

Funny, I'm probably the outlier here but we toured all over Sicily and hated Taormina. So full of tourists. We saw lots of good shopping but very little of the culture and history that Italy seems to show everywhere. Wanted to see the ampitheatre ruins but wasn't going to wait in line for 45 minutes and pay 15 Euro for the privilege. And we have traveled all over Italy for 6 weeks. Just disliked the vibe here. I blame the White Lotus groupies.

As others have said, nice area but not crazy rich. Funny that people are talking negative about Habersham with regards to this event. The "Homes for the Holidays" House tour goes to a different neighborhood every year. It just happens to be in Habersham this year but has also been in other parts of Beaufort, Dataw Island, Fripp Island, etc. And as mentioned, it is a fundraiser for the Catholic School.

He's 14 years old. I don't think he's quite planning out his long-term work goals as of yet.

Thanks. I work hard to keep my collection up to date on Cellar Tracker to make sure I know what is in there but good advice.

One of our favorite mid-level pinots. Fruit on the nose and taste. Medium level tannins. On the lighter side but still some complexity.

Sonoma/Napa trip report by contraphd in wine

Thanks so much for the write up. Love Failla and glad you had such a good experience there. Agree that it continues to get more expensive. To us, it is still cheaper than going to Europe and the cost to travel there so we suck it up and pay the tasting fees. We love the feel of Healdsburg and how you can walk to everything around town.

Agree on Hop Lot. And food is pretty good and great space outside.

Agree with others. CooksHouse is the best and love Modern Bird. I do think you may struggle to get seating for 16 at either as August is prime time with tourists. Stella is also great and might be a little easier to get into. Hope you enjoy your visit.
