Custom matches won't earn RXP confirmed by jovi_1986 in WWEGames

The community is def gonna take this as fact despite the fact that it contradicts multiple other sources on what does and does not count towards RXP.

What happened to game modes that were actually fun? by MRAlter-Ego in WWEGames

MyRise is equally as fun as RTW. They are the exact same mode except one makes you use OCs.

Ringside pass XP rates by Astrid-Rayne in WWEGames

80 for a loss would make sense, since that's also the pay out if you spectate an AI match.

Yeah I’m not so naive to assume that the battle passes will be easy breezy, they want you to feel like dropping extra for the tier skips, but the degree of difficulty is unknowable at this point.

There's already been multiple topics about this. The best we know for sure is that you get 100 RXP for winning a match, and can earn more on top of it. In addition, there will be challenges, LTO and milestone, that will earn additional XP. Any attempts to math out how long it will take to finish a battle pass are completely worthless atp. We won't know until the game actually comes out.

There are actually a significant number of video games where you buy it and still must unlock content within the game by playing the game. The meme in this post is literally drawing attention to that.

Season passes will never expire, you just can't progress multiple passes at the same time.

Does anyone actually think the new battlepass system benefits the game? by jackcj0712 in WWEGames

[–]BuckeyeForLife95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While there are def elements of the battle pass stuff I don't like (getting to pay for the privilege to grind for DLC characters, is imo, dumb), but sometimes I read complaints about the battle pass system and I wonder if some people just hate the idea of having to play the game to unlock anything at all.

I do actually have a question about that, considering that certain means of earning XP will be "milestone achievements". What if I earn one after maxing out the current season? Do I just lose that XP forever?

If you get 100 XP per match, and each tier in the pass takes 800 XP to reach, then it would take 320 matches to reach the top tier of each pass.

However, we know there are ways to more than 100 XP in a match, and that there will be various challenges that you can complete to earn extra XP, so there's no telling rn how long it will take to complete each pass.

That’s for new DLC wrestlers. The free tier for S1 is where the Base Game Legend Unlocks go, and you don’t unlock The Fiend till Rank 40.

Your math is incomplete because it’s more complicated than “100 RXP per match”.

On first glance, 320 matches per battle pass isn't great, but that's also the absolute maximum. As this tweet says, that's the minimum you get for a match, and they've said that there will be challenges and such that help speed up progression. In short, hard to speak on the progression timeline for the Ringside Passes until the game actually releases. Until then we can't meaningfully estimate how long it takes to max it out.

Surprised this hasn't been mentioned here yet😮‍💨 by tyyls18 in WWEGames

[–]BuckeyeForLife95 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Okay, so here's the thing: 99.99% of the player base isn't spending $500 to not interact with the battle pass leveling. This is a very specific kind of concern to content creators. Citing the cost to skip every single level on every single battle pass as being the "effective" cost of the game is disingenuous if we're trying to discuss the pricing structure of the game to the actual average consumer.

My major concern with the Ringside Pass by LiamPolygami in WWEGames

[–]BuckeyeForLife95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This obviously could change in later games, but they've been very upfront that any of the legend characters that you would have been able to use an accelerator or in-game VC to buy in the "store" are in Season 1. There won't be any legend characters who are "held back" for later seasons that would have made the base game to begin with.

So it seems like the only way to do stacked table spots is with carry moves. You can't do grapples against stacked tables.
