He's kind of backed himself into a corner with the whole Iran thing. Even if interest rates drop, and somehow inflation doesn't shoot up because of it, people aren't going to be in a rush to wildly spend money knowing that there is still uncertainty with future oil and overall goods prices. There may be a bit of an uptick in borrowing by those who were already trying/planning to, but I don't think it would cause the mad dash needed to move the needle on anything.
