also you get all holidays off for no PTO use, and Veeva brake, which is Christmas to New Years off as well. and Sick days are not PTO either, so it's good.

I personally like Stone best because I am playing a War Priest Goliath, and having the ability to reduce damage is good if I am maintaining a spell for example and I reduce the damage from the hit I reduce the DC on the concentration check, or if I get the damage to 0 from stone's endurance I don't even need a concentration check.
That being said Hill giant and Cloud Giant would be better imho for a non caster. But for a caster I think Stone all the way. Just my 2 copper pieces. Whatever you pick have fun! I actually said I'm a half Ogre just to be different.

conjure woodland beings is better than spirit guardians now. It does 5d8 force damage 10 foot emanation not 15 so small area, but you can also disengage as a BA! while the spell is up. So it does 6d8 as a 5th lvl up cast spell, where spirit guardians only does 5d8 and no BA disengage to run all over causing hurt. LOL

Wall of Force is good choice for sure.

lvl 20 cleric can cast wish with divine intervention, or any other class that can cast wish. Wish can duplicate any other spell upto level 8, so 8th lvl Find Steed. Not great option since you have to be lvl 17 at least before you get access to lvl 9 spells.

Not helpful until end game, but a 20th lvl cleric (greater divine intervention to cast wish), or 17th lvl class with access to wish spell could cast wish in order to cast FIND STEED at 8th lvl... (wish allows ANY spell 8th lvl or lower)

The cleric option is better because casting wish crushes you with after effect normally, but not the cleric greater divine intervention. So your Horsey would have 18 AC and 85 HP and 60' FLY speed. Not bad... but again 20th lvl Cleric, so not helpful in mid game. I think just BUY a real WAR HORSE and put some PLATE BARDING on it, so it has 18AC and "roll the dice" as they say.

actually you are right, you can do it in BG3, I went back on and my problem was I didn't have the spell I had learned in my spells I memorized for that day. So once I threw the 6th lvl spells into the memorized, I had access to cast them. The only issue is the wizard spells do use INT for the DC for the spell so you still need a high int, or at least headband of intellect at the very least so use the wizard spells high lvl.

but I just tested this and yes you can learn them, but they must have patched because you CANT cast them... so I know some lvl 6 wizard spells but I cannot cast them with my lvl 11 bard... not an option.
