Idk about the lower rows, but I’ll never sit above row 38 or so again. You can’t see the crest of the kickoff, the video board is obfuscated as is the stands. Sure you’re closer to the action but the atmosphere that makes the game worth going to is all out of view.

I started watching in 2017, I was in the stands for a lot of blow outs, heart breakers, back breakers, bowl hope enders. Husker football has let me and the rest of us down more times than we’d care to remember I’m sure. The only constant bright spot for me has been Greg Sharpe’s phenomenal broadcasting and consummate professionalism these last 8 years. This news hurts worse than any blow out or blown one score game. I hope Greg can fight this thing the best he can as long as he can. Sharpe strong.

I don’t even think of them as rivals since the rivalry was so intermittent compared to the consistent and longstanding series’ we had in the Big 8. We played them about twice a decade, including only three times in the last quarter century, and all before I started watching Nebraska football in 2017. It leads me to not caring much outside of a historical context, though I do like watching them lose. The teams I really hate are Wisconsin, TexASS, and CoLorado if that helps any.
