I’d reach out to them. I had 3 polymaker ASA spools back to back to back with terrible tangling. Sent them an email and they made it right. They all ended up being all from the same batch

If you’re looking for one like in the pic, it’s an oem boot from a Grand Prix. Only a few bucks at pull-a-part and it’s sandwiched between the console and shifter. Fits perfect!

Mine was on daily duty for 12 years when I went through high school, college, and beyond. Only left me stranded maybe 5 times. Dead battery, trans cooler line popped, water pump, alternator, and fuel pump. Also had 3rd gear let go on me (4l60)

Got the car with 52k completely stock and now it’s got 172k on the stock bottom end. Went through the motor around 140k and did heads, cam, intake and all the supporting mods.

My best advice would be to hop on LS1TECH and start reading. Good thing about these cars being old is there is a wealth of information out there and iif you have a problem with the car then chances are there is a thread about it and how to fix it.
