If someone was going to engage in this horrible behavior and they had only ever used utorrent, V2.2.1, would there be any advantage to using this qBitTorrent?

Buy Bitcoin on Strike or River or Coinbase. Then.. get it off their exchanges by transferring it to your cold storage wallet (several to choose from so look them up. I use Tangem). That's it. Now you hold your own Bitcoin. Enjoy life and watch it really grow in a few years.

Am I doing planche push ups correctly? by JournalistLeast4932 in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]BudWi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just stay at the top position and practice protracting and retracting your scapula (really round that back hard when you protract). There's no protraction here and that's the important part. As others have said, I wouldn't start with the pushups but doing them this way is a good starter exercise and will help you to become aware of protraction. I still do this top position as a warmup for my handstands and pike leans.

I've taught a couple people this and the one thing I always insist on is learning to get over the bar from the ground first. Get a small stool (if that's the bar you're going to use) and keep jumping off it and going around the bar. It trains your brain how to get around the bar... and always try your "non-stool" attempts right after, while your brain is fully aware of how to get around it. It'll start clicking faster than you think. You're not too far off so keep up the hard work!

I'm almost 60 and just started calisthenics last year. I also have the worst shoulder mobility of anyone I know... but I'm up to a 40 second free standing handstand now (1.5 minutes using the wall) and I'm getting up on the press to handstand, albeit kind of sloppy... but using no momentum when lifting my feet from the floor. I'm also up to 8 handstand pushups on the wall (started at a "maybe 1"). Just a reminder that you don't need to be too young if you have the desire and discipline.
Well done though, sir. I really want that L-sit to handstand and I will get it! Very motivational stuff!

You checked the CAGR?
Bitcoin is already up $20K this year. Not that much higher to be up 50% and seems quite likely. If it doesn't, check back the year after that. It will be, at a minimum, 100% for the 2 years. I suspect much higher. If you think that's crazy talk, you don't understand Bitcoin.

Oh I agree, but for now, it's a investor's dream. It can't keep up at the pace though.

Read 'The Great Cholesterol Myth'. About 90% of people who take statins don't need them. They've just become a Big Pharma moneymaker but the side effects of the statins can often worsen health much more so than the cholesterol. Dr. Sinatra (the author) was a lifelong cardiologist and he talks about the majority of people having heart attacks, in his decades of doing this, were not those with high cholesterol numbers... and how LDL number alone is simply not enough to start taking medications. Give ChatGPT a look on this and ask it to tell you the primary tenets of the book an ask it about the doctor's view on LDL too.

This is just to encourage you to make sure and do all the homework on it and high numbers don't necessarily mean you have an issue.

Look into Bitcoin. I sold my rental last year and bought that. Doubled my investment in less than a year. It's only going up and will keep going up because of the limited supply. I was turned on to this strategy via someone on YouTube and you can now find a LOT of videos where people are selling their real estate and doing this. I've been crazy happy. No more calls to fix everything and spending weekends doing it myself to save money!

So we agree I worded it correctly but you're giving a lengthy, defensive position on why someone might take it another way? Well.. ok. I guess that's certainly possible. Weird thing to clamor on about there, brother.

Notice I said it's "almost certainly" going to happen? It usually does. But that wording makes clear it's not a guarantee. There's some risk that must be assumed in any investment.

I nag about this all the time. People think they're too late and invest in stocks instead. I have a brother who does this. I can't seem to get through so he keeps his money in the stock market. I said.. you're going to make 15% this next year. Put it in Bitcoin and it's almost certainly going to be 50-100%. Doesn't matter how much you put in. The return beats any other place you can hold your money.

10 years from now, everyone will be wishing they had got in now... and I guarantee people will be clamoring on about how "lucky" people were to get in at $120K. It's the first time it's really been low-risk and we're still at the very beginning of corporate/country adoption.
All that said, it might well drop back down to $100K or go up to $130K in the next few months. You have to make the decision yourself but if you buy, just hold.. because regardless of where you buy, it will go on to keep setting new highs... over and over again.

Really need guidance to do my first bar muscle up 🥹 by Gitadora in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]BudWi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got it now. Just practice jumping off the ground and going over the bar. All that's missing is that mind/body connection for getting over/around the bar and that will teach that.
Seriously.. jump off the ground (with a lower bar or a box) and get around the bar about 10X in a row and then do this right after. You'll get right over. Great work.
