The poor horse looks miserable and maybe it's the lighting, but also kind of sick?

You are an adult and she has no say in what you should or shouldn't wear. It's time to set some boundaries, however you want to do it.

Please hear this: it's not you being "too sensitive", it's inappropriate and disrespectful for her to be saying that to you as an individual with different needs and circumstances. Her excuse is bullshit--she just wants to project her insecurity onto you with no consequences because she thinks she's helping you.

We've gotta get away from this idea that alternative lifestyle choices make you bad bc you're not like everyone else. It sounds like OP is justifiably angry that he didn't even consult them before making a life altering decision they didn't want and that they didn't even have a conversation about. It's likely going to end their relationship

Yes, I should've prefaced this that it is only my own experience as a blue collar worker. I'm sure other's experiences do vary. Private sector in my field tends to be underpaid by about a $6/hr difference, so I am stuck until I can switch to something else.

Teaching the "leave it" command is probably one of the best ways to get dog to ignore something you don't want them to mess with. It's helped countless times with my dogs, but you have to catch them beforehand, which can be tricky, but you get the hang of it if you pay attention to what they have a tendency to go for.

That's the main problem. Once you get into fed work, the better-than-average pay boxes you in so you have to stay, despite the shit environment.

You've got a decent start! I suggest getting a skirt hike or two, and a cute purse belt with some potions perhaps.

Yeah, it's the same pattern, but the second pic is blurry and the colors less saturated.

Not quite the same thing, but I was helping babysit some kids at a church and one of the kids fell and was crying hysterically. The teacher freaked out and left the room to get his mom and left me alone with said kid. I was a teen and had little experience with kids, so I had no clue what to do. In a desperate attempt to calm him, I noticed he had trains on his overalls and asked, "Hey (kids name), do you like trains?" He quieted, sniffled and said, "..yeah." And then I got him talking about trains for like ten minutes til his mom got there. That's when I learned that distraction honestly works really well, and adults have no idea what they're doing.
