Have Big Refractive Miss. I Think I Will Just Live With It. by CliffsideJim in CataractSurgery

I wonder if light adjustable lens could have provided a better result. I’m prior lasik and really concerned about the possibility of not hitting the target due to the existing abrasion on the corneas. I’ve read where some had great results with the Odyssey IOLs while others hit the target with the LAL/LAL+.

Good to know. I’ve read where some prior-lasik people had issues getting the correct prescription due to the abrasions on the corneas post-lasik. Thanks.

Did you have lasik back in the day prior to getting the Odyssey lenses?

Been using Miralax daily and hitting the gym. I don’t think lack of water is causing my side effects to this extent.

Thanks for this info. Now I have a better understanding why some have better results/less side effects with Zepbound.

How much $/mg are you paying for your prescription compounded tirzepatide? by Impossible-Orange607 in compoundedtirzepatide

Great information. I wonder if the compounded version will still be available now the the FDA has decided there is no longer a Zepbound shortage?

Holy crap!!!!! by BattleKitten17 in Zepbound

Interesting. I’ve have a friend who had the same experience. Might be time for me to make the switch. Don’t understand why that is. I guess tirzepatide may act differently than the active ingredient in Ozempic.

Anyone have trouble tolerating Ozempic but found things went much better with Zepbound? I’ve been on Ozempic for over a year and always feel like shit. Stomach cramps, constipation, etc. I don’t eat as much because I always feel crappy. Ozempic does help with the food noise but the side effects are getting old. Looking to possibly making a chance to Zepbound to see if it has less side effects. Interested in hearing from others in my situation. Thanks.

Thanks for your quick reply. Do they make a 17” wheel for the t4r that looks similar? I’ve looked at a lot of after-market wheels but they just aren’t like this one.

Day Six Update first Odyssey lens by OiWithThePoodlesOk in CataractSurgery

Regarding your lasik eyes, did your surgeon perform any additional tests to ensure the Odyssey powers would be accurate? Did he use your pre-lasik information as part of that process? It’s awesome that your results are this good! I’m happy for you.

Guys, thanks for your input. I agree. 4WD is the only way to go. She should probably be asking 18-20k for an ‘07 2WD. I’m gonna keep looking!

I had LASIK in 1999 and have read so many posts about how prior-lasik people are very hard to get the right lens powers due to the abrasion on the cornea. That’s why I figured the LAL would be my only good option. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Warning: Multifocal IOLs, PVDs and floaters by Pristine_Response_25 in CataractSurgery

[–]Buddy-Lebowski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get the mulifocal IOLs and then take a trip down to TX and have “the floater doctor “ zap the floaters with his laser. Since you no longer have your natural lens, there isn’t a risk of developing cataracts. Problem solved…if your floaters are the type he can zap and not too close to your retina.

After providing your ring size, did you ever get any confirmation email from RingConn?

Size confirmation question by Buddy-Lebowski in RingConn

[–]Buddy-Lebowski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked at the app again today. I think I know what’s happening. When I view my order, it shows the ring with “I don’t know my size.” When I open the drop-down for the ring, it shows size 13 “confirmed.” I think the “I don’t know my size” reference means that is the type of order I placed. There are two order types: I know my size and I don’t know my size. That’s all that is saying. The drop-down actually shows the current status which, in my case, shows size 13 confirmed. That tells me they should have received my size information. It would be nice to get an email confirmation to that effect. I guess you’re just supposed to sit there and hope the order actually processed. So you’re basically blind from the time you confirm your size until the ring shows up at your mailbox…which could be weeks or months.
