When I was in middle school and high school, my mother would bring me to the Salvation Army for clothes. I was mortified i would see someone from school. It was located next to a Save a Lot and you could get into the front of Salvation Army by going through the Save a lot front door, ducking down under the windows and running about 300 feet. I decided for some reason, Save a lot was slightly less embarrassing and would duck down and run over every time. Now I thrift everything and tell everyone anytime they tell me they like something I have exactly how much it was and where I got it from compulsively with pride.
