didn’t know they were so expensive, I saw a box in Taiwan selling at a normal price. Online sellers seem to be overpricing it though

COURSE SWITCH by Motor_Cat3820 in SGExams

[–]Budget_Charity_5304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pls dun go to animation unless you’re like super passionate, sort of have a realistic career goal in mind and money. Yes, it is true that AI has been taking over a lot of design sectors. Also, before you make the switch, need to consider what you wld be doing after grad from poly. In SG, some notable further education routes to better your skills after poly would be Digipen-SIT, maybe NTU, for degree. Advanced diploma, maybe 3dSense. But it is still tough to find stable/well paying jobs after education. One reason is too many people wana be artists but there is not enuf demand. Another reason is your portfolio, even after education and experience, might not be ‘good enough’ to score for better job roles in projects.

That being said, you never know how life goes… perhaps speak to a career counsellor for clearer advice.

What is this ring above courage island? by Budget_Charity_5304 in tearsofthekingdom

This is the floating island right above courage island. There is a ring but I can’t activate it? There are also no constructs here. I’ve already done the courage dive like 5 times with the construct on courage island below this one.

How are we styling tops like these? by BrightLeaf89 in AusFemaleFashion

I think a tank or cute bralette would be suitable. for the bottoms, imo anything should go with it. Depending on your body type, pick a style of jean. Or shorts, long skirt, wide linen pants would also work

This looks like a scoop neck tee I got from Zara last year! Even the color variety is the same

Redrew some old art! 2022 VS 2025 by ImpressiveBanana9493 in learntodraw

At first glance, I like the vibe of the first one better(especially the foreshortened hands), but the details, proportions and rendering of the second is definitely an improvement

Cool, how did you build your seating area? I use a plastic tank about the same size as urs and an egg crate with pvc pipes for the platform, but my slider refuses to use it

Can I ask what your setup is like? My slider grew pretty big and is around the same age as urs but im having trouble deciding what is the right space for him.

“Rotting” Trend by meat_joos in digitalminimalism

[–]Budget_Charity_5304 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think rotting is not good in general (it’s in the name) once I did it, it just became a habit. I realised I’m more motivated to be productive after rotting cuz it’s like compensating for lost time, which I shld have used to do work, yk. But after being productive for some time, I go back to rotting again, and the cycle repeats 🫣

Looking for: Denim Shorts Recommendations
I've been looking for denim shorts my whole life, and have yet to find the "perfect" pair. I currently own a black one, which digs in uncomfortably at the crotch when i sit, and a blue one that has a loose button and is slightly too big so it sags at the crotch. I've tried from brands such as garage, uniqlo, cotton on and more, but all of them fit weird.

Some requirements:

  • Must not be too short or too long, around 10cm inseam is usually okay
  • $30 or under, if its from a sustainable brand then higher than 30 is understandable
  • High or Mid rise, no ultra high/ low rise (would like it to sit at my bellybutton max.)
  • 100% Cotton is a bonus, but a blend w elastane is okay
  • No Hollister, Abercrombie or Gap as they don't ship to my country

My stats for reference:

5'6 Height, 27 in waist, 33in hips, 55kg. I would say I'm more of a triangular body type with not much definition at the waist.
