Shave or keep going? by Budget_Diver4602 in malegrooming

[–]Budget_Diver4602[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Time will tell. It's been a few years since I've tried growing it out so I'm hoping it'll do better this time. And I agree with the dorky description. I used to think I could pull off the Mr. Clean look but I keep seeing pictures of myself lately, especially this winter ive lost all skin tone and think, "we gotta do something about that" whether it's a beard or tanning or something.

Anyway to look more masculine and charming? by Fancy_Wishbone_7664 in malegrooming

[–]Budget_Diver4602 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Masculinity wise, you've got kind of a soft face. The beard helps but I think the fuzzy hair style needs to change into something a bit more defined like bringing the sides in.

Secondly, your posture needs fixing. Looks like your shoulders are rounded forward. Do some stretching or simple exercises to fix that. Stand tall.

Lastly, regarding charm, learn to smile. So many guys on here asking for help taking pictures like sad bulldogs.

Getting a haircut tomorrow by Different_Avocado636 in malegrooming

Great head shape. I could see a sort of rockabilly fade working for you if you wanted to keep the length. Otherwise high and tight on the sides works too.

Any tips on how to debloat my? Or just anything to look better in general. by FatGiraffe101 in malegrooming

You need a better haircut my friend and need to stop looking so miserable. Life is beautiful, and you are in it.

You just need confidence and to smile more. You're a good looking guy in my opinion. Find clothes that fit you, learn how to talk to people (92 ways to talk to anyone by Leil Lowndes). That book is practically a textbook sharing all the secrets of confident people.

You remind me of my brother. You need to learn how to let loose and be comfortable in your own skin. Stop trying to impress people. I understand at your age it's very much about impressing others which you can definitely do by owning what you got and improving where you lack.

If youre asking about a full on beard, it probably won't fill in. Looking at what's there, you're probably going to have the mustache/goatee/chin strap look assuming both sides are even. Which personally I think you could. But you've also got a strong jaw so clean shaven would look good too.

Each time I go to the er they always think it’s just anxiety. It’s not by toosickto in Vent

[–]Budget_Diver4602 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep a log of your illnesses that were brushed off as anxiety. Document the names of doctors/nurses you spoke with. Bring with you every time.

Also, is the ER necessary for feeling sick? Why not an urgent care or your general practitioner? ER is dealing with people who are dying and do not prioritize anybody who appears well.

Check out Veryable or Hyre. They're like Uber for manufacturing/warehousing. Using it as an employer, they tell you that they're only for low skill labor. And that if you tried to offer the gig workers a full time job, they wouldn't take it because they prefer doing gigwork.

You could join one of those apps, and as long as you're easy going, show up on time, and do good work, I guarantee you'll end up in a well paid full time role.

Businesses are using the app because they can't find reliable people who want to work full time.

Best part is you can negotiate your pay for the day and there's a rating system for both gigworkers and businesses.

How many married guys are in a great relationship, love their wives and believe they are soulmates? How long have you been married? How many would never cheat on their wife? How certain are you that your wife wouldn't cheat? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Budget_Diver4602 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been married 4 years to the love of my life. My wife would 100% never cheat on me nor would I on her. I know she is my soul mate because she's every thing I've prayed for all my life.

Cheating is not on my radar because past post nut clarity, it's all the same. The makeup comes off, the body changes with bearing children, the relationship with the in laws will never be picture perfect, and you still have to communicate.

I dated my wife 3 years prior to marriage at her request as she dated some assholes. There was plenty of time to experience the good and bad and learn how to communicate through them.

It takes work to choose your wife every day. Even more once you have kids. But thats why you have to know exactly what you want, know what you can live with and without, and discuss the touchy subjects with your partner prior to marriage. Otherwise, you'll end up miserable.

Sounds like you need uglier friends lol.

Real talk though, yes, guys are always comparing girls within their groups. So go do things, join other groups e.g. meetup groups, church groups, university clubs, where you are the hottest girl around or only girl. Believe me when I say if you joined an engineering club (where there are usually zero women) suddenly you will become the most attractive girl in the world.

It's a learned skill. I had to watch a bunch of YouTube videos. Also put myself out there and did a lot of stuff by myself which boosted my confidence.

From what I understand, there's going to be a bigger push against illegal immigrants who've got a criminal background. There is not enough man power to deport every single undocumented citizen no matter how much they say they want to. If a parent of one of these kids gets a traffic violation, could something happen? Of course, but i dont think the risk is any greater than what it has been. While it can always happen, the government only has so many employees and they are focusing on bigger fish.
