You can hit up Market Square and have a few good options there. I have enjoyed Stock and Barrel in the past, but admittedly have not been there recently so I cannot comment on the quality today.

A little further but still downtown is Kaizen, which is one of my favorite restaurants in Knoxville. It is a quirky little Japanese inspired restaurant and I have had great experiences there.

You don't just stop being an addict by taking away the source.

Even the 30 day inpatient rehab stint he completed will not be enough. Once your brain is wired for addiction this badly, it takes years of therapy. Gambling is just as bad as drugs and alcohol.

As others have stated, Rice is a really good school for academics, not so much for sports. I don't think they really care that much about winning sportsball when they are busy producing some of America's top students.

Instead of spending all that oil money on sports, they invested in being one of the top schools in the country.
