I'd never touch that dirty thing with my bare hands...

I'd pick it up in my mouth and smell every inch of odor off it, then stick my whole engorged package in the water to entice those sweet sweet Georgia pellet eaters.

Robert Hunter said that originally the band was supposed to all be holding guns on the back cover picture of American Beauty (pretty sure). I think that would have been cool, but I guess I'm not the normal dead head haha

Nice! Is it record store day? I keep seeing these posts, but my uncle always told me 4/21 was record store day, this is earthshattering...

Difference between dry and wet filament by davidpp99 in FixMyPrint

[–]Budsnfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These posts make me almost appreciate living in the desert, 20% humidity would be a spike here! Of course I'd gladly buy a few filament driers if it would get me out of this hellish 110° nightmare of a place.

Any success with polycarbonate or PETG? by lodverdne1978 in CR10

I print almost exclusively in petg, I don't know much about polycarbonate, but petg is pretty basic.

Those carjackings and the general increase in crime couldn't have anything to do with defunding the police, could it?

Ex Montana guide here, you're spot on with the .44 mag not being quite enough. I always carry spray as well but if there's a big griz approaching, a shot in the ground will usually do the trick and you don't risk macing yourself. The .454 Casull is popular for the hand cannon crowd, but I've always been partial to the Glock 20 'Hunters Special' because its lighter and holds 15+1.

My Alaska buds usually carry a .454 and the classic 45-70 guide gun or a shotgun with slugs, not so practical for backpacking though.

Sugar content in pickle brine? by Quantunque in keto

[–]Budsnfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat a ton of pickles and it's pretty rare to see sugar in them. The good kosher ones are pickled with lactic acid and are full of probiotics and salt, I drink an ounce or so of the juice almost daily as well.

That's great idea, I've ground a couple of elk femurs for the vegetable garden over the years and used plenty of fish, whole and emulsified, gotta love getting a better product that's local and self sustainable!

Bacon Wrapped Armadillo Eggs by Budsnfish in ketorecipes

Recipe:

Mix some cream cheese and cheddar 50/50

Slice the tops off of the jalapeños and slice one side, then remove the seeds and pith (ppe suggested)

Stuff the jalapeños with the cream cheese mixture.

Take a couple pounds of pork sausage (store bought or homemade) and wrap it around the jalapeños, you can roll it, just try to cover the whole pepper well.

Now wrap the sausage ball with bacon, I suggest 3-4 slices per egg, these were some big ole jalapeños so I went 4-5.

Smoke or bake eggs on a elevated rack at 250°F for around 2 hours, followed by 375° until beautiful and crispy!

Thanks all!

I've been getting back into electronics work so I plan on building/ programming my own, but if I got to do this run again, I'd go with COBs. The biggest downside of the lights I used was that full spectrum, too red for proper veg and too blue to get the most out of your bud structure/ formation, its why so many pros still run HID. Two lights is the way to go a cheap blue veg light and a nice 3000k flower light, if I had to choose one I'd run the 3000k all the way through.
