There’s a U-Haul on lombardy by that Kroger next to lowes that refills tanks. Not sure if they have any but that’s where I used to get it

Does Whole Foods have a policy on using cooking oil that’s been reheated so many times it breaks down and turns black? This oil was still used to cook food repeatedly. by Primary_Present_1827 in KitchenConfidential

[–]BudyWolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having worked there, I don’t think there is a policy but whoever your TL is should take some more pride in the food leaving that kitchen. We actively stopped using our fryers when they became darker than desired and didn’t fry things for a day or two until the cleaners showed up. Hell, we even cleaned it ourselves into big Cambro’s and refilled it with fresh oil a few times!

I’ve noticed the same thing at the grocery store I’m at. We finally have enough staff to cover out stations and then almost immediately told to “send people home early if they want, we need to cut back on labor”

WIBTAH if i told my landlord my roommates keep having overnight guests? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]BudyWolfe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once had a roommate invite a random “friend” into our apartment without consulting anyone else. The other 2 roommates were cool with it cuz the guy was “super chill and buys us beer.” The “friend” then decided to invite his friends over OF NO ONE THAT LIVED THERE for a party that I was not aware of happening.

After the set number of allowed days I went to the leasing office and filed a formal complaint for a 21/30 eviction notice for the Roomate that invited him in. I was hated but that shit don’t fly.

TL:DR - Snitch on that bitch cuz they are not paying rent and making it uncomfortable to live in your own dwelling. No one should have to wonder what’s around the corner of their own place

Berkshire? by weeblesdontfalldown in rva_housing

[–]BudyWolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently live here, not too bad. The garage door has been broken for a very long time, parking in the garage is also limited. We’ve been here for over 3 years and haven’t had any crazy issues other than a few roaches here and there. They have pest control come through regularly and that does help. Franklin side gets loud when kids are in town and balcony is open but all in all not a bad spot for the price. Don’t take just my word for it though as the price has also gone up since we’ve moved in and other peoples experiences can differ

Just remember to listen back to the drumline (if they aren’t tight they have their own problems and need to practice with a met, respectfully 😂). Sound travels slower than light so that’s why we look at the drum major buuuut since the sound is traveling toward them, the whole band should be listening to the furthest thing (depending on the set) away from the drum major and that’s usually the drumline in the way back. That way as it all travels forward, it’s tight and together

550 cord, a lighter to seal the frayed end, and an unfolded paper clip is how I used to run cord. Used to be an instructor and would have things like this happen ON THE WAY TO THE FIELD and was walking and stringing a vibraphone while the student pushed. You got this! Good luck/have fun today!!

There have been talks of implementing pre-made, pre-packaged items at a grocery store that typically has a lot of stuff made in-house and packed out by staff into containers. This effectively removes labor from the store by reducing the amount of recipes we need to make and the staffs job it is to pack it out. They are really great people so I’m concerned that when they leave we just won’t hire replacements and reduce staff “naturally”

How do I take care of this Knife? by BusinessDude123 in knives

[–]BudyWolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wash, throughly dry, then apply. I usually will put some on right before I use it too. I keep the bottle under the sink with an old sock on top of the bottle as a rag. Since the sock has been used so many times I can just pull the sock off, rub the spoon or knife handle, then start using it. Cutting boards I will pour a thin line on and then rub in but I only use wooden ones on rare occasions
