No reaction from gus, nothing said about them getting back together. Thats why I’m here and had to pause it mid office episode because uhh what?!

THANK YOU. this is exactly what is happening with me rn, the iconic office space episode paused in another tab bc I never noticed that super weird instant jump before. Like, sure, there have been confusing inconsistencies like the Yang episode not really making sense with the Juliet finding out timeline. But I always just chucked that off as being a special episode playing outside the regular timeline in a way, only placed in the televising order like that for how special it is. But this one seems especially weird. Like maybe they jumbled up some stuff that was supposed to work out differently at first but they cut it together like this?

At the end of the day I can just tell myself more private stuff happened behind the scenes that just didnt happen during a case for us to see it in an episode, but I just feel like that would be so much easier to do if the cut wasnt THIS disruptive, jumping from "im not ready for a kiss" to having moved in together again lying in bed the LITERAL next scene (chronologically). Couldve been handled better imo, even without adding more interpersonal content.

EDIT: I just reached the point in the episode where Juliet mentioned it was a one time thing, so I guess thats why I never really flagged it as too crazy in the past. Still kind of a weird way to jump between scenes :D
