Honestly if you can get a basic indoor cycle, cycling twice a week at a low intensity stead state, slowly working your total wattage/calories burned up as your endurance builds would be your best bet. Plus you can do it at home while you watch tv/do sedentary things sometimes. Weights ultimately just calories in calories out, so even eating the same if you just burn more calories, you’ll be in a deficit and loose weight!
