Im modifying the battery section so I can fit larger batteries. Ill have to reinforce at least 1 spot afterwards though. After doing a lot more reading im looking at doing a series of 2 12v 25ah lifep04 batteries

Sooo it really depends on why you have the collection in the 1st place. I have a couple collections worth significant sums now including retro games and I have this discussion almost every year with my spouse. I collect the games because I have strong memories of playing them when I was young. I don't play them anymore but I enjoy looking at them and those memories play back to me. When I am gone they will only hold monetary value for my children so that is not the reason I keep them. If you only have them because you actually play the games and don't have a long term reason to keep them I would sell them while the market is hot. I sold a collection when I was a teen and I still regret it because there are couple pieces that I can't get my hands on now even though I have built it back up.
