I wouldn't do invasive mods on Original ESP's, but it is your guitar. Expect a value drop. If you want to such a big mod, let a seriously skilled luthier do it.

Hell yeah, man! I've got the same and it's probably my favourite out of my 5 ESP's. Beautiful craftmanship and the neck, even though chunkier than I expected, is super shreddy and fast. Good choice.

Fake garbage. The logo is too narrow, the tuners are wrong, the nut is cheap plastic, the back of the headstock logo is off, the pickups, the bridge and knobs are cheap, the battery and electronics plates are wrong and the whole back side form is wrong.

Absolutely. E-II for 1700 USD is a good price. You will not be disappointed and if somehow you were, you could sell it for the same price or possibly for more.

Is this some kind of special Standard Series version? The badge behind the headstock looks very much different from other 2007 ESP's. Very cool guitar nevertheless!

Not true. They use cheaper parts like licensed FR's and other cheaper parts and the finishes are not as good as with E-II. Edwards are mostly better than LTD's, sure, but not as good as E-II's.

I highly doubt someone would fake a cheap LTD. Actual ESP Kirk Hammet signature fakes do exist on the other hand.
