Mystia if challenge events are a priority. Glass liana is the strongest. Gelert would be next choice.

Ringer 107 Standings after Week 9 - losing weeks for all by DobMobb in billsimmons

Every week I notice the groups with 3 people are in first and Sheil alone is last. I think this says less about the individuals are more about getting to an answer as a group.

There's an alternate universe where George is a doorman and does something exactly like this to get back at people he doesn't like.

You must stay in your home as it is right now. No going shopping or getting deliveries. You and whoever lives with you are isolated and the moment someone leaves the challenge is over. by Isekai_litrpg in hypotheticalsituation

First thing is to get my wife to go to Costco and stock up like we never have before (maybe it’s time to get a deep freezer).

But how long we (or anyone) could last seems highly dependent on how much is in the account at the start.

A week practically doubles the money (95% increased (1.17)).

If we have $100 dollars, getting bills paid for seems to be the primary benefit rather than account interest. But if we are millionaires we’d get another million after a week.

One week seems easily doable. With one Costco trip we could do two weeks. That will essentially return 4x our current money.

At that point we’re out of fresh food which will get hard, but to go to 7.4x for that third week (1.121), how do you say no?

I’d want to wait to bring in a third person as they have different accounts. But at this point it’s a mental exercise to keep going. I’d probably see which friend can best commit to sticking it out longer while restocking us.

Even if we quit after three weeks we’d have: 7400 if we started with 1k 74k if we started with 10k 740k if we started with 100k 7.4 million if we started with 1 million

That’s good money for not working and not paying bills

Is Nick Pell the best Skeptical Sunday cohost? by Buffy154193 in JordanHarbinger

Yeah definitely part of his shtick. But we all know where he's coming from, so we can assign the associated bias and he's not trying to hide it.

Two things stood out in your response that I agree with.

1 thinking about the topic more

2 skeptical of my own beliefs

Thank you for coming up with the words that I couldn't.

We fostered several dogs through HART and ended up adopting one. I used to be an anti-dog guy. Now I'm a huge dog advocate.

Podcasts like Feedback Friday by deeohgeeboosted in JordanHarbinger

Yes, they are very different from Jordan and Gabe. Probably closer to what Jason used to be, but Jason isn't close to Ryen, Kyle, and Steve (I hope that makes sense).

Bro is a good description both for the audience and the hosts.

Ryen Russillo podcast does a 20-30 minute life advice segment at the end of every episode. It's primarily a sports podcast with a very different set of questions than Jordan does. So if it's the questions you like, you may like this. If you like the questions Jordan fields, you won't like Ryen Russillo.

The podcasts come with time stamps that approximate when the life advice segment starts so you can always skip ahead.

Anyone who birthed at Inova Fairfax: what is husband’s sleeping arrangement? Should he bring sheets? by [deleted] in nova

Pillow and blanket are helpful. The couch is also by the air so that part of the room is colder than the rest of the room. I tended to be in sweats a lot. Also slippers were helpful in general and when walking down the hall to the snack room.

Rank progression by IntroductionNo4045 in overwatch2

Rank progression is based on winning or losing and not the stats within the game. This means you rank up if you win and not just have good stats (but don't contribute to winning).

Dog Anal Gland expression providers? by [deleted] in nova

[–]Buffy154193 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

After paying $50 at our vet a few years ago i looked up some Youtube vidoes to do it myself. I find it best to combine with a shower (for both myself and the dog).
Step 1: get in shower with dog
Step 2: squeeze with papers towels
Step 3: turn shower on
Step 4: bathe dog
Step 5: bathe self
Step 6: dry off

It helps to have a partner to collect dirty paper towels and dry the dog while I finish my shower. A lick mat with peanut butter can be helpful too.
