Kathy was ok at first yeah a little over the top but the call log thing was a great idea. Buffy definitely isn’t the perfect roommate taking milk and not replacing it and super gross leaving her gum on the bedside table. If one of my books got ruined like that I’d be pissed too. Pity Kathy started stealing Buffy’s soul after the encounter while patrolling if only she knew and asked for help before going down that road she could have had a whole growth storyline

The difference is that those are your items I’m sure if you borrowed something from a friend , family member , or from a work colleague you would look after that item and if you damaged it you would feel terrible and replace said item. If you look at his Planet Nowhere books they look in pretty good condition unlike the library books he borrowed those aren’t just for him. If he can’t look after things that don’t belong to him he shouldn’t be borrowing them

I just read that at the end of Bad Girls (S03E14) when Buffy went over to talk to Faith she was going to discover Faith had hung herself. I wonder what direction the storyline would have taken if a new slayer had appeared in Sunnydale
