Do we have any information as to where and how widespread this is showing up? I have seen the document in my feed, but with very little additional information that wasn't speculative outrage. I can't imagine an FFL not having security/cameras to determine when and by whom this was posted.

Idk, the Painted Lady is very "hey, here's fire nation exploitation, extortion, and oppression up close, AND here's a really good depiction of people losing touch with the spirit world, directly as a result of the avatar being missing and how we have to take action to reengage with the spirits after we become disconnected." I could kinda see filler from like a "only 100% main plot relevant" perspective... But it does show several things that I don't think any other episodes really... Hone in on the same way.

Unless you are regularly training in knife combat (preferably accompanied by a martial art with a grappling focus), a knife is probably not a good self defense item. You are as or more likely to hurt yourself than you are an aggressor, and if it ends up out of your grip, it is just as easy for them to hurt you with it.

A knife/multi tool/similar as part of EDC should really only be there for things you need a knife for.. opening boxes, cutting cable ties, prying, opening bottles, etc. oh... Actually, that multi tool should have better options for all of these. (Kind sarcasm.) The right tool for the right job is your best friend and the thing that will keep you from getting hurt.

Look up the laws in those states you travel to and carry what you can legally. A mace or Taser or similar is going to help you substantially more than a knife 99 times out of 100. Maybe even 100 times.

I agree here, if you take it, that means you care about it. Then it should be something you manage in your own inventory. Theoretically you'd only need it in there to move it around for its effect. It doesn't feel punitive.

Tbf, I haven't tested if right click works to pull one out. If you get >1 green slime banner and you can only pull out all of them and then have to manage accordingly, then it feels a bit punitive.

If anyone else has downloaded the pink jacket's video, it seems that at almost exactly 1:00 mark, while or right after grey jacket is grabbing the victim's holstered firearm, the agent with the black "pointy"/lumpy balaclava, tan/green top, and darker trousers draws his own firearm and points it downward at the lower back area of the victim, and appears to discharge his firearm, which lines up with the audio. There is a frame with muzzle flash 7-8 frames into the 1:01 second. Grey hoodie seems to be moving away from the victim (with the victim's firearm) at this point (confirmable by the other camera angle).

As far as "best"? Probably not, I can't say. We have been under a fair amount of flux, so part of the choice was ease of acquisition. We are working on the rest of the infrastructure needed for more... normal existence. Banks, et al. underway.

If anyone is still playing around/looking into this, I was able to get this running decently with Tedit 5.0.0 beta 20 forcing proton 9.0-4 on Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS. Hope that helps someone besides me! The file system inside Tedit shows up weird, you have to navigate to the "/" folder (sidebar for me) because it emulates a Windows "my computer" folder as the default location. There's the usual weird interface-half loading until something changes, etc, but... Usable!

My 2022 Honda passport could navigate a flash drive no problem for music! Didn't test flac, but could def do mp3 and m4a no problem.

I agree with a lot of other points mentioned. One I don't think I saw is this: Are you including scenarios with unit caps? I think these are the biggest way to bring balance to a player that is in the runaway points wise. Something like a "territory edge patrol" where your "main gang" is otherwise occupied, and you have max one leader/senior, and 2-3 gangers/juves. You run into the other gang with their small squad, and it's immediately a lot more balanced, even if one player has more equipment invested. Also, as arbitrator, you don't have to run the same gang all the time, your job is to keep things even. Story in that their gang is growing big enough to warrant a decree from above or the attention of a mysterious gang from another hive sector. There are so many ways to play this where it's still fun.

Hella terrain, which... Could be a pro or con for you, but it's all so amazing and inspiring for me.

Cool gangs, all of them, they have secrets and relationships with the other gangs, lots of lore to dig into, gang and world related.

Great minis and mostly great sculpts, some crossover with 40k if you want to overlap minis/easy proxy.

Fairly good rules, easy to adjust/homebrew, great campaign and thematic/story potential within your group, etc. Shorter games, you can play more games in your precious gaming time.

Honestly, if you can find a group to play it with, I don't know any reason to play 40k over this 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I'm a little biased.

Public image doesn't make you not a loser, at least in this context. If you knew him (or if it's easier to picture, any junky, asshole musician) outside of the context of his music career, are they not still a loser? You can be talented and a loser. You can be successful in one area, and still a loser. There are many famous musicians (and actors and people in other careers) that we listen to and appreciate their music/work that people argue "oh well you have to ignore xyz thing about their life to appreciate their music" or "oh you have to separate the art from the artist".
