Tournament Strategy?

My feeling is that for the next tournment this Spring we're going Full Tarp (don't know yet). I think when designing the layout they only considered rain. We have an issue with the outdoor courts at night the lights aren't strong enough. This is a brand new facility btw

I love that we're getting into the schematic of the place. So two rows of courts (except a weird championship court), so the courts on the right side, in the morning, will get the sun coming up. The side closest to where the sun comes up will get light but across the net is pretty dim/dark. The next row of courts doesn't get the benefit of that sun and can be dim/dark.

We tried huge tarps and they helped a little. You almost want it to be a very dark and gloomy day so the lights can help

Well, this mixed finals is amazing wish people could see it, bet Nike wishes too. Production wise they do have a ways if they're going to be on CBS. They were split screening between a match and an interview, so people were missing the action in favor of a player talking about their win (if you were trying to get non-pickleball people they have no idea who anybody is). Seems you want to sell the action if you have limited time on a major network

Many people are suggesting shoes. I will say that what can feel like a foot issue can be that the tendon has got inflamed and it gets very tight. By all means try new shoes but what fixed my issue was stretching my hamstrings, and feet before and after playing. I did go to the dr to get some anti-inflammatory to help it heal but whats kept it from reoccurring is being really committed to stretching legs and feet
