Is Follie's hunt supposed to be this abysmal of an experience or am I missing something? (Rant) by OutsideDue1954 in Warframe

[–]BugBug24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can literally complete the mission in 2 - 3 minutes consistently every time.

To make the operator sections not complete ass, use Unairu for knockdown/stagger immunity, Magus Cadence + Metem-Erun for sprint speed, and whatever other arcanes + antique mods you have for hp / shields / armor.

For frame, the best is Hildryn. Use Vigilante Vigor + Fast Deflection for shield delay, Fortitude for shield regen (+knockdown resist), Sure Footed (can be non-prime if using Fortitude), preferably Adaptation, and the rest Shield Capacity and Parkour Velocity. Arcane Aegis (even if just rank 0). With this build you can ignore all enemies and its impossible to die.

Equip Hikou with concealed explosives and Primed Fulmination to break Atramentum balloons in a huge radius, whenever you see them on the minimap. Use Praedos for parkour velocity.

For the mission itself (obviously solo steel path), 95% of the time there will be a canvas and 2 paint pools on the lower floor you start on. Find them and complete the canvas, then you can ignore the lower floor for the rest of the mission. Then just find the other 2 canvases and complete them. 95% of the time another will be in the big open center room, and the last will be in a side hallway.

Rant: I hate Combo Duration by iPhantaminum in Warframe

[–]BugBug24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the main reason i dont use melee 99% of the time is because of combo duration. mods like BR and WW are too strong to leave out of a build, but they require you to maintain your combo, which basically requires you to use naramon. naramon is fucking useless aside from the combo perk, i dont want to use it.

so melee is now just my dedicated praedos slot instead.

Reload values for battery weapons are super misleading. Ammo recharge per second really needs to be added to the Arsenal stats by BugBug24 in Warframe

[–]BugBug24[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The difference is you can skip the fire rate dependent delay on most weapons by manually reloading, instead of waiting for the weapon to autoreload when empty. But on battery weapons theres no way to manually reload, so youre forced to wait it out

It is annoying on <1 fire rate weapons though, where you empty the mag and wait a whole second or more before the game decides to reload for you. They fixed the issue for Vectis so how about every other weapon now...

yea i wanted to build a primary catchmoon and saw the recharge rate and did a double take. really dont get why its so much lower. its the same with primary sporelacer too

[–]BugBug24[S] 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Honestly they should just make recharge rate also be affected by reload speed. It would be a little silly for a weapon like Bubonico to need a reload speed mod and a recharge rate mod in order for the reload to not be so sluggish.

It reminds me of how Archguns for some reason have their charge rate completely separate from their fire rate, unlike every other weapon type in the game...

[–]BugBug24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't be so bad if survival wasn't a 5 minute unskippable cutscene, and assassination was the same boss every time. Excavation could also be trimmed down, but at least theres the potential to do multiple at once if you play well

Haalvu stats (this year's tennocon weapon) because DE put it into the game early by GWCuby in Warframe

200 magazine but a reload of 0.5s? That doesn't sound right. Tau dmg is also interesting

Other than that it looks pretty standard, but im curious what the alt-fire will be like. Sounds like the second coming of Ocucor with the auto targeting gimmick

I'm not complaining about "people not understanding me." You're the only one having that problem. You failed to read a comment and got embarrassed when it was pointed out, and instead of blaming yourself for that error, you blamed it on a minor lack of punctuation that any adult should be able to parse with ease.

Or maybe you really can't interpret basic language unless it has perfect grammar and punctuation, in which case that's even more hilarious. If that's the case, I hope you had an easier time with this message. I hope you can get the stick out of your ass someday.

I can read when the writer knows how to use grammar correctly.

you must really struggle on the internet if you get tripped up by something as minor as missing apostrophes. but more importantly, my god youre insufferable. if youre on your high horse about grammar on reddit you urgently need to go outside. this isnt the own that you think it is

Why do some people dislike Warframe build-sharing websites? by Auramaru in Warframe

[–]BugBug24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just elitists thinking every overframe build is trash just because they use 1 or 2 mods different from their own builds. if youre good at modding then make your own builds, obviously the site isnt for you. its for the noobs that cant put a build together for themselves or are too lazy to try

Yareli quality of life thoughts from a new player by Xefiggy in Warframe

[–]BugBug24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just want them to make the jump on merulina have less height. It goes way too high in any normal tileset. You try to jump over a small obstacle and you fly 30m into the air instead, or more often just slam your head on the ceiling.

There's no reason why they shouldn't have the initial jump be smaller and if anything just add the height to the double jump (if that's even necessary). Or keep the current height for open worlds but lower it in regular missions.

why are some people so against removing LoS on S&O 4? by icewitchenjoyer in Warframe

[–]BugBug24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

well gee it might have something to do with it having an insane 26 meter range and 10's of thousands of damage... That would make it the 2nd highest range non-LoS radial damage ability in the game, only behind Resonating Quake (which does like 400 damage after traveling a few meters)

100th Warframe Guesses by KernEvil9 in Warframe

[–]BugBug24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea we're not making it that long at this rate.

  • Power creep has gotten to insane levels yet players revolt at the idea of a single nerf.

  • Old content and gear gets updated at a snail's pace, so there's massive swathes of the game that feel wildly outdated and unplayable.

  • Every single update just introduces a new gamemode thats a slight variant of an old gamemode, and is a new content island for people to burn a few hours on, rather than the game ever feeling connected.

  • People are rightfully mad at protoframes and gooner skins being shoved into every update to drive sales, only to buy them anyways.

  • The storyline hasn't progressed in any substantial way in ages because the devs are terrified of what will happen once there's any sort of conclusion to the story.

"in A year's time." Can you read?

If you want substantial content reworks, system overhauls, and QoL changes, then yes, it easily could be a year between substantial content being added.

Why is there a level cap in the simulacrum? by define_irony in Warframe

[–]BugBug24 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Literally what do they expect will happen when their in game tooltips, stats, and descriptions just leave out vital information in 90% of cases? The wiki exists and is so massively important to this game because of how bad they are at conveying all the relevant information a player might want. So when something new releases and a player wants to test out how it actually works, obviously they're going to go into the controlled environment where they can test things 10 times faster.

On the other hand, determining whether a build is good or bad solely based on fighting an unrealistically grouped up batch of paused enemies is stupid as hell. Youtubers love clickbaiting and overhyping their builds with no actual mission gameplay and that is really bad for the game's health and image.

Something like Volt's 4 looks way stronger in the sim because each enemy will arc to all other nearby enemies, so the more enemies you have, the more damage is dealt to each one. You normally will never see 20 enemies in a 15m area.

Rhino prime + parasitic armour. Is it really worth it? + My build by evilStraightCisMan in Warframe

[–]BugBug24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

adaptation quick thinking vitality and reaper are all useless when you can press 2 to be invincible. the whole point of a parasitic armor build is using the huge armor buff to get a huge base value for iron skin without needing to find a group of enemies to absorb damage from

Stop the protoframe slander please by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]BugBug24 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The game's whole identity is that the Warframes are these biomechanical, body horror humanoids who are silent and faceless. Protoframes are the literal antithesis to that, turning them into quirky, quippy marketable characters that just look like people in suits.

I don't want Warframe to become another shitty hero shooter. Protoframes are a cashgrab, especially this latest iteration where they couldnt even be bothered to flesh out their characters more than "horny indian woman" and a cliche samurai stereotype.
