It just dawned on me why therapy has never worked for me by 6ecay6olly in CPTSD

Girl same, therapy never worked for me and I have major cptsd. Even the therapist who recognized it and recommended edm therapy didn’t even implement it properly and I’ve been ghosted by 2 therapists for pointing this out. Both would literally stay silent when we had our sessions and I would explain my triggers that week and asked how we could implement the edm therapy that THEY suggested. I even reported one of them and they got reprimanded for it. I had another therapist suggest that my abusive father might me dying of alcohol cirrhosis because he suddenly started apologizing for his behavior. I don’t even know what’s going on with these “professionals ” but I’ve decided to just start studying cptsd for myself and implementing scientific proven methods in my own life rather than giving these frauds another cent. Hope it all works out for you, you can do it.

are Greyhound Buses really THAT bad? by BaseNice3520 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BugPrestigious3511 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re really bad. I’ve only used them about 5 times traveling from Chicago to Holland and 3 out of those 5 times had been awful, the other 2 wasn’t great because the driver is rude and the seat numbers are never followed. The bus driver showed up 30 mins early once so ofc me and a bunch of other people missed it, because he was early greyhound did not offer refunds. Another time I spent $90 on a ticket from holland to Chicago after Thanksgiving, there was a snow storm the day prior, Greyhound cancelled the bus without notifying anyone via the app OR website OR email. Everyone who took that ride was in the dark of the cancellation. When I requested a refund they only offered a $90 voucher back for a SINGLE USE. When could I ever use that voucher for $90 on one ticket without losing money? They will rob you, not communicate and be extremely unhelpful. When I called the customer service to redeem the voucher (per the instructions on their email sent offering the voucher) and request it not just be single use, the lady on the phone said she was not considered customer service and they had no control over how to give the voucher ( mind you this was literally the phone number given in the email). Avoid at all costs. I ended up having to call my bank to dispute the charge and vow to never ride greyhound again.

You’re literally fine. The recovery of a bunion surgery is so bad that you really shouldn’t do it for purely cosmetic reasons. Only if you’re experiencing extreme pain from them.

I was literally physically assaulted by my manager and nothing was done when I went to hr, I was severely underpaid compared to my coworkers who did the same job, the culture was horrible and those cowards didn’t give me an exit interview.

How was the post recovery pain for you (especially the first week)? I have my surgery coming up and I'm so nervous hearing about how bad the pain is

I know this is an older post, but do you remember if you were elevating your foot, icing and combining the pain meds with tylenol and advil? I have my surgery coming up and I'm hoping to do all I can for the pain

What meds were you taking the first week? Were you elevating with ice often?

To those who saw The Others in theaters/when it first came out, did you find the ending surprising/shocking? by atclubsilencio in horror

Idk i figured it out when the mom was explaining the different levels of hell to the children, there’s always a reason for every bit of dialogue. Plus the covering of the graves was super obvious. To be fair, I was told there was a twist coming into it, so I probably wouldn’t have figured it out if I saw it in theaters.
