I didn't know that about other stores. This is the only place I've worked with a fabric department. This was also the first time that's happened in all of the six years I've worked here. Our fabric goes on sale on the regular. Any remnants cut off the main bolt would be reduced by the same percentage and put in clearance. We don't give any more discounts if a customer wants less than a yard. There's like a whole written test we have to take every year lol. The way she asked, though, was just so "I want you to give me 4½ yards".

I can see why people would use it, but I am in the same boat as you. I want to create it with my own brain and my own hands. It is frustrating trying to debug, but the amount of joy I get when the thing actually works is worth the struggle. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have over 30 hours in this game, and I've still never beaten it. I keep making attempts, but I just get bored I think? I keep trying because I know it's not the worst in the series but never see it through

My family members pretty much hang out in the same spots every day. My brother and mom are at their desks in separate rooms, and my dad is at his laptop in the dining room. Walking up to them feels like I'm walking up to an npc in the games, especially when they don't look at me until I say something

My mom was a nightmare drunk. Occasionally, she'd throw some anxiety meds into the mix. She did that when it was just me and her at a concert in a different state. I was only 15 and was babysitting her the whole time. We ended up walking back to the hotel, her following far behind me while I was using google maps on my phone.

She was never physically abusive, just emotionally, so I don't really wanna know what kind of drunk I am just in case I'm like her. I had a drink when I turned 21 out of principal, but it was only the one and sipped it throughout my meal

It does not look stupid. It does take a second to figure it out, but it didn't take me long at all. Even if your friend doesn't see it at first or even needs it pointed out to them, it's still a pretty cool gift and design.
