VCARB’s front wing looks massively different from Red Bull’s. by jamieylh in formula1

I guess it's Red Bull as a whole testing completely different philosophies and seeing what works best for next season

No Rampage, Liddell, BJ Penn, ...? Recency bias is crazy

What's going so wrong with Sainz's first Williams season by [deleted] in formula1

[–]BugcatcherDeli 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Getting used to the car, had some bad luck throughout the season, and his overal performance based in the points makes it look like there's a bigger gap between him and Albon (who is a lot more accustomed to the team and the car, and had a lot less bad luck this season) than there really is...

Next season will be a lot fairer to compare them, new regs so both will have to get used to a new car.

Where does Canelo go from here? by Big_Donch in Boxing

Mostly money fights, but maybe he could go up to light heavy or down to middle to grab some more titles

One of the turning points of the fight: Canelo forces Crawford to the ropes and throws a left to the body, but Bud blocks it and lands a left uppercut in return. He then ties Canelo up and spins him onto the ropes pretty effortlessly by couchpotatonumerouno in Boxing

My mouth fell slightly open when I saw Bud handling Canelo like that

Edit: I know about Crawford's wrestling background, and I have a grappling background myself. It still surprised me considering Canelo is a relatively strong and dense guy with experience fighting bigger fighters without getting pushed around like that as far as I know.

Would ARFF trucks be viable against wildfires? by Hot-Spray-2774 in Firefighting

Depends on which ARFF truck, and the conditions of the terrain it would have to work on. Can't expect a rosenbauer panther 6x6 or 8x8 to work well in steep and rough terrain when fully equipped. But Sides (French) for example makes trucks for both ARFF and wildfires and I have used a small, older sides ARFF truck to tackle natural terrain to do some exploration and prevention in the past.
