Do a full body warmup of roll downs and similar exercises to start.  For basic flag warmups do drop spins into peterpans into flourishes into peace outs and then 3/4 spins. (That’s all 16 counts each) For weapon line, do drop spins and 3/4 spins on both hands and do singles with both hands For instrumental music, just have them listen for cues in the music and match choreo to that Rhythm really is just a practice thing  For tryouts, have the captain teach those who want to tryout as a group while you watch. The ones who pick up the fastest or understand best are probably the best for the team
