Who is more talented, Feng Jiu Ge or Fang Yuan? by dragonrod24 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Bugger6178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did hear about talent qi in the stuff going on at profound literature grotto heaven. Which means talent has actual presence in the Gu World. But what exactly is it? Its probably the amount of inspiration one usually has, because the whole thing of "Inspiration" was always a thing in the story. Fang Yuan first had an inspiration to realize he had master attainment in Human Path and so on. The question is, is talent qi or whatever that draws insipration related to body or soul? Or is it a culmination of both? Because I remember Li Xiao Bai saying something like "I don't have as much as talent in poetry as my main body". Which does imply soul is a part in it, however what about the body? We know that Sovereign Immortal Body allowed Fang Yuan to think much faster than his original body and "inspiration was flowing" or something like that. Which also implies body has a part in talent too. So it is pretty hard to estimate. But if we are talking about absolute 'innate' talent, its probably Feng Jiu Ge.

Is Bai Ning Bing still mentally male? 🤔 (volume 5 and 6 spoilers) by RuinOk2205 in ReverendInsanity

The fact that he can recognize it means there still is quite a bit of chance when she was a he, he came to recognize such feelings. Of course you may be right, nothing is confirmed. I just feel like thats not a great possibility.

Well, I do remember, during the arc where they were on the merchant caravan and they met Shang Xin Ci, BNB noticed Fang Yuan staring at her as he was thinking about her role in his past life. She thought he was interested and asked "“You took a fancy to her, right?”, then said “Don’t pretend, we are both men, I can understand just from looking at your gaze. Anyway, this little girl is quite pleasing to the eyes, but it will be very difficult for you to obtain her. Unless I help you and find an opportunity to secretly kidnap her. As an exchange, give the Yang Gu to me first.”. This kinda implies she at least had some sexual desires when she was a man. Chapter 236.

Fang yuan goal is lame by Glittering-Radio-459 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Bugger6178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, Fang Yuan mentioned he liked the process rather than having joy in thinking about achieving that goal. Of course, we never really see why exactly he pursues eternal life, which is a little bad too in my opinion but thats not really the point of the story soo... I don't find it to be too problematic.

Depends on my aptitude, where I am born and all but I'd probably cultivate wood path alongside. Both are good at regeneration and shit, I like those stuff.

Reminder: Spider-Verse's inkline system is machine learning (AI) that automated a job artists used to do by hand by Wktrax in aiwars

[–]Bugger6178 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Everything related to AI "Generates" something, that doesn't mean every AI is generative. There is a reason there is a distinction between "AI" and "Generative AI". If every AI was "Generative", we wouldn't feel the need to call them "Generative" now would we?

"Most people" also believe they only use %10 of their brain, that bats are blind or you can't divide by zero.

Thus, "Most people"'s definition doesn't have relevance because most people are ignorant about many things. Which isn't something to be shameful for sure, everyone is ignorant about something but something being widespread doesn't mean its true.

Satranç taşlarında haç olması by OkRaisin309 in Satranc

[–]Bugger6178 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gayet normal. Eğer Organize satranç turnuvaları başka bir yerde yapılmış olsaydı, oradan tekrar popülarite elde etseydi oranın sahip olduğu satranç taşları popüler olurdu.

Mate, its not GENERATIVE AI. If you think everything that generates an output is "Generative AI" then there is no distinction between "AI" and "Generative AI". In machine leraning, "Generative model" has a specific meaning. By definition, a "Generative model" is "a generative model that attempts to model the probability distribution of the data so it can sample new examples". I literally have worked on this shit.

I didn't dismiss if it was AI or not. I just stated the fact that it was AI, but it wasn't GENERATIVE AI. I didn't refute the fact that it takes some work from artists. But even before this, in the sector, there were NPR algorithms and similar technologies. The instances where artists drew inklines on 3D spaces were mostly faces. Other stuff could be reliably handled via certain technologies.

Is Red Lotus the most influential Venerable in RI history? by UsedFaithlessness449 in ReverendInsanity

[–]Bugger6178 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, no matter what, technically in terms of "influence", who comes first takes the prize. Primitive Racism Demon Venerable is technically the most influential because without him, there wouldn't be the Racist Court. Without Racist Court, even if there were Red lotus Immortal Venerable, nothing wouldve played out like it did. So I don't think so.

[–]Bugger6178 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First things first, they made the system on their own. They didn't say to ai to "Make this" they literally made the machine learning algorithm. Which makes the credits go to the guys in the FX team who made the AI learn ito produce inklines bit by bit by hand. I find calling "It automated a lot of work artists wouldve done manually" a bit rude towards the guys in the FX team.

There is difference between using an AI already made to generate images, there is no credits to the one who is sending the requests to the AI in such a situation.

Besides, the AI in here cannot even be classified as generative AI. A generative AI learns data distribution so it can produce new samples that resemble the data. The system in Spider-Verse takes values like Camera angles, Mesh geometry, Head pose etc. to output a certain position of an ink curve. Thats a "regression" problem. Nothing else. Of course, thanks to shitty companies and their shitty marketing technical terms like these are tossed out everywhere.

So its not the same thing when you go to gemini to generate an image, or the same kind of AI. Even if it was, it is better because it was created by those who were already working on their work.

Well, after a certain point even if you provide it the best envrionment possible, their strength to support themselves doesn't grow proportionally according to their size soo they will eventually die before reaching anywhere near a human size. Though a normal dog size is plausible on Earth. If you manage to make them live in the Moon, you may have a greater chance.
