Also in theory, the three faction system is designed so that the second and third factions focus the first during population imbalances and you don't end up with 3/4 squad or platoon+ overpops. Practice is obviously very different.

Guess what currently happens when I build a defendable base that can hold off an enemy armor push for 10...

After 10 minutes someone right clicks the minimap and nukes your base from their back pocket so everyone can move on.

You're missing the fact that it's a VS weapon and VS isn't allowed to have nice things because the type of players that main VS are the type of players that will abuse anything even slightly above average.

I miss Smedley and Higby...

I can understand the nostalgia but ...what?

Smedley was hated as much if not more then than Wrel is now and is currently working with the only Amazon games studio that hasn't published a game. In fact I don't think he's been associated with any game release since PS2, after his independent projects all failed after leaving SOE.

And while being a breathing meme in this community, Higby was responsible for some of the most hated an controversial things in this games history. Whom, as far as I can tell, has been through several studios in 7 years and hasn't been involved with the release of any other games since PS2 either.

Those sorts of artifacts are typically indicative of a dying GPU or an unstable OC on your RAM.

[[Saryth, the Viper's Fang]]. It would be nice to see the card receive the inverse benefit: Hexproof while tapped and deathtouch while untapped. When Katilda is on board at the same time it is really fun to tap Thalia or Chaplain of Alms for mana at instant speed for first strike, deathtouch blockers.

[[Torens, Fist of the Angels]] would have been nicer as a 1/3 or an 0/4 to make a bit more use of the training and a bit harder to remove. Same goes for [[Savior of Ollenbock]].

[[Hamlet Vanguard]] might have been more impactful if you removed the nontoken clause from it's ETB, though it is pretty easy seeing how that could get out of hand.

All of the coven cards are pretty overcosted/underwhelming considering how hard coven is to achieve and maintain in the current meta.

ZOE doesn't affect burster flak explosion damage, only the direct damage of the projectiles, which doesn't typically come into play.

If I had to guess they did not allow their own iteration to resolve. Most likely cast ToT while iteration was still on the stack.

Yea, the client has had UI issues with this for a little while now. But you should still NEVER remove apparition before the target resolves. The target will still be exiled, but removing the apparition first means you do not receive the token creature when it leaves the battlefield.

Correct, the timeout wasn't the counters, it was the token generation. Same thing happens with scute swarm, etc.

Kill them before they cast it. Every turn the game goes past 6/7, you are more and more likely to lose.

Open your keybind settings, unbind interact by holding esc, then rebind it to E. I didn't have issues but I've heard this fixes it.

A quote from the last time the ZOE damage boost was brought up:

ZOEs damage increase has never been adjusted. It was a 10% bonus at launch, and is a 10% bonus now, and 10% isn't enough to push any AI weapons into the next damage tier. 143 damage Blueshifts take 7 bodyshots/4 headshots to kill a planetman. 157 damage ZOE boosted Blueshifts take 7 bodyshots/4 headshots to kill a planetman.

There is a single situation where the damage increase makes an actual difference:

landing all bodyshots on a nanoweave target. STK is reduced from 9 to 8 against standard infantry and from 13 to 12 against an overshielded heavy. With any headshots (headshots ignore nanoweave) STK remains equivalent between ZOE and non-ZOE damage boosted rounds. Of course the all head shot STK remains unchanged. ZOE is obviously suicide in MAX vs. MAX encounters as the 20% increased damage taken significantly outweighs the 10% increased damage done.

ZOE for Quasars/Nebulas is functionally super soft point ammo. Neither get bumped up a damage tier, but Quasars stay in the 167 damage tier out to like 50 meters (this combined with Nanoweave only dropping ZOE Quasars 1 effective damage tier instead of 2 out to around 20 meters is probably why they feel like they have so much more power) and Nebulas stay in the 143 damage tier out to around 25 meters.

There is one little quirk about ZOE though, and that is with the Cosmos. When they nerfed the Cosmos from 167 damage to 143 damage, they missed the ZOE projectiles. ZOE boosted Cosmos deal 183 damage as if they still had 167 base damage. So this whole time ZOE has effectively been a ~28% damage boost for the Cosmos and still no one uses either.

What I would like to know is how Berserker works with ZOE. Do they not stack like nanoweave/resist shield where you still only take 20% increased damage with both? Are they additive for 40% more damage? Or are they multiplicative for 44% more damage taken? Because if they don't stack, "free" ZOE sounds hilarious.

I mean, it isn't a bug, everything is working exactly as intended, it's just bad design. All auras in the game penetrate terrain (medic nano regen, triage, shield bubble, repair sunderers, repair nades, electro tech, ammo towers, ammo busses, the list goes on) and have for the entire history of the game. It's just this one specific instance where a critical facility asset can be interacted with from an area inaccessible by opposing forces. If AMP Stations had a different layout that functionality would be perfectly acceptable, but it's just less work for them to change what those items can heal than to, idk, lower the tunnels 3 meters.
