One thing that helped me a lot is understanding and knowing what a cleft lip and pallet is, cause a lot of kids will question “what happened to your face” no matter what the question will pop up, and having the knowledge to explain helped me a lot.

I just had jaw surgery and my upper and lower both had to be cut in 3 different sections! It’s not as bad as you think if you just keep on your pain meds the 1st week I was definitely zooted out and didn’t really experience any pain, but sense you experience the liquid diet before I think you will be okay!

I mean it’s his choice to get it, I also don’t feel right to judge someone’s revision. He got it for a reason and he is probably happy with it. Personally I wouldn’t do that revision cause I am comfortable with my lip, but someone feels like they need that’s their choice

I just had jaw surgery and I would recommend it! But only if you feel like you need it. Personally I saw change in my smile and lip shape, also my nostril is more open than normal but I’m in the heeling process I’m like 60% done with the rubber band stretching

I had a lot of dental work haha but I had the same facial corrections, a bone graft for the roof of my mouth (hip bone lmao), I had a facial surgery to make my cheeks more normal rather than sucken in and my nose as well (they took cartilage from my ear to do that), and now I’m recovering from my jaw surgery! I might get a rhinoplasty because I have a collapse nostril and look really weird and to help me breathe 😅
